this movie is terrible and dull and I never liked it. However there's something very entrancing and arresting about it as an experience that is unrivaled by any other horror film. It's an "absolute" mood piece of neo-Gothic architecture.

When i first saw this movie I was terrified!!!! I wish i could have that same feeling when i watch horror today!! That was classic!
