At the start, it feels like a deleted scene from "Supernatural." I can just picture Sam and Dean doing the TV show-trivia thing on a long drive.

But then comes the end--I screamed so loud that my dogs jumped up to defend me. CRAP THAT'S TERRIFYING!

I remember the entire theater doing one large, collective crap in their pants when this happened. This was like the visual equivalent of a Brown Note (re: South Park). Still one of the scariest moments in film....period.

@KeithWasHere1 Yeah, come to think of it i could see it being a revenant too. cause there is TONS of stories of Ghosts hitching, and a revenant is sort of a kin to a ghost... so thats pretty accurate.. the banshee thing, i think if they was going for banshee it would have been a woman instead of Dan...but who knows? i know the Gremlin is STILL my favorite in almost any more though. he looks AMAZING in this movie!

What a great opening sequence this is! I think one of my own favorite twilight zone episodes was in fact with Burgess Merideth when the poor bugger was the last man on earth after a nuclear war! That was great! Party because i did really care for his character but, the episode was great! :)

they were shooting the last sequence of the first segment (the racist guy). they used all the footage of morrow up until that part. he is supposed to switch back and forth between korea, nazi germany and southern US but he only goes to korea and "the south" once but it appears he was supposed to go back to korea again but thats when the accident happened so they didnt use it. check it out. its a good movie. the kids that died were only supposed to be in that part but they cut it completely.

His head was chopped off and the children were crushed. The Pilot of the chopper survived. Director of the segment John Landis got into a lot of trouble over his style of filming which supposedly was sort of shady. This also established a big law on child actors in effects heavy scenes. Pay no mind to @The Laluna. Youre 100%
