  • As a nurse I would support legal use of marijuana to alleviate pain and suffering...however that means dispensing marijuana with dr.'s order and with dosage adjusted based on individual pt.'s condition...in other words using marijuana like any other controlled substance like oxycontin, morphine etc.

    What would that mean???

well that would mean that 99% of the people marching in the video will probably not get marijuana...So stop wasting your time being stupid street advocate...

  • Tobacco is a natural plant but it still kills people. Go Weed!

  • is thier any more of these in illinois?

  • This video, it's comments, and the marijauna march prove that stoners are retarded,

  • Sheriff John Brown always hated me,

    For what, I don't know:

Every time I plant a seed,

He said kill it before it grow -

He said kill them before they grow.

  • When I say give me money or i will tell your wife you were cheating i can go to jail.

When the government says give me money or i will lock you up like a monkey its the law.

When i take something that's not mine thats considered stealing.

But when DEA takes something that don't belong to them it's confinscation.

When i buy land that makes it mine.

But when i buy land it belongs to the government.

    Ext. Ext. Ext.

You get the point the entire government are criminals nothing more.

  • Florida U.S. Senate candidate Shawn M. Teeters announced his support for legalized medical marijuana on his Facebook page Monday 9/21/09. His statement read Yes I support medical marijuana.

Amazing Marijuana Facts:There are five types of cancers that marijuana stops tumor cells from spreading: brain, breast, lung, pancreatic, and prostate.

  • Im sick of listening to argument made by pussys who are too scared to smoke weed and people who genuinely know nothing about this issue.

  • @skylinefootball Scared to smoke weed? How about we don't need drugs to make our lives better. Some people actually love their lives without living in a weed-induced fantasy land.

  • @miceypoo you just don't know any better. once you try it you will realise how boring life can be when you don't have it. Not just that the physical effects of weed are orgasmic. I have heard your argument before from others and when those people finally tried weed they admitted that their argument was just an excuse because they were scared and didn't want to try it. Don't be scared give it a smoke ; )

  • @skylinefootball. No thank you, too many people have introduced drugs, alcohol, and guns as "cultural" contributions. I learn from history and don't accept poison. I dont support the drug trade. And marijuana smokers often use harder drugs. Around 1/3 of people who have tried weed (42%) in the USA have tried cocaine(14%). So a 1/3 of those weed activists have tried coke. The drug trade is also the most murderous trade in the world. I am not a selfish person and I dont support narcos. thanks

  • @miceypoo Those statistics sound like bullshit! Plus THC unlike alcohol isn't poisonous its non-toxic! You could inject THC into your vains and live or eat 42 kilos of marijuana and not die. Granted the drug trade is a violent trade but that is because of prohibition not because of the effects of marijuana. marijuana doesn't kill brain cells ,cause cancer, cause impotence, or make you a loser. Knowlege is power and ignorance isn't bliss don't believe everything the TV tells you.

  • @miceypoo If you learned anything from history you wouldn't support prohibition. I bet you got a C- in history class! Support of prohibition is support for the drug trade. you just can't see the forest for the trees

  • what a bunch of losers what next? legalise cocaine? and the rest of you weak peoples drugs? get a life!

  • you are ignorant you know nothing of cannabis history or of hemp no doubt. cannabis is not cocaine so don't even make such an asinine comparison. The system were under now makes illegal drugs a profitable industry and very accessible to children. Prohibition has done nothing to stop drugs as drugs are still a problem and has cost the taxpayers billions. Lives are ruined worse by the laws around drugs than by the drugs themselves. prohibition ruins society and there are ways to regulate drugs

  • You are a big government control cradle to grave nanny state meddling liberal busy body. Live and let live. Worry about your own problems, and get a life. Your mindset really doesn't fit well in a free country. You propose a slippery slope my friend. Are you fat? Do you eat french fries? Ice Cream? Candy Bars? Cigarettes or alcohol? Tanning beds? Do you drive a large vehicle that consumes a lot of gas?

You want to give up our freedom? Let Government & powerful Lobbyist choose for us?

  • Who are you to tell anyone here what they can and cant put in their own damn body????? If you kill some one while on cocaine then its murder plain and simple DRUG LAWS ARE A INFRINGMENT ON PERSONAL CHOICES!!!!

  • theirs no social costs if you dont like it then dont go around it? it only should effect the people smoking it. its not selfish at all you just believe all the bullshit youve been told. keeping it illegal is worse than legalizing it and you think it will have a new effect if its legalized? no everyone is already smoking it. marijuana is a natural herb. if you believe the bible it says god has given us every herb bearing seed and its a herb. youre undereducated about it if youre not for it.

  • HELL YEAH!!!! LEGALIZE POT NOW!!!!

  • all those peoplle are like: I want legalized marijhuana for my own selfish needs and don't care about all social costs. It's disgustable!

  • fuck you, marijuana poses no social theat. in fact, it makes you a pacifist, all you want to do when ur high is relax withyour friends, like drinking beer.

  • You call strangers who encourage you to take drugs friends? and who wants to be a pacifist anyway? A pacifist is someone who bends his knees before any actual fight occurs.

  • The only thing disgusting here is people like you who think they have the right to dictate what other peoples choices should be... That is no where near freedom and when you have become god then get back at me until then F OFF cause your a selfish prick. None of us you people are. I don't tell you what you have to eat,if you have to work,if you can be lazy, watch your game, drink beer, soda, coffee. That's the same way i feel when people like you open your traps. Mind your own an we will mind ours.

  • they want marijhuana legalized all over the world? what a nutheads.

  • Damn... Ill join that SHIT!! Is there going to be another one?? HELL YEAH!!

    Legalize It!!!

  • trashy americans get fat and go to your trailers

  • hell yeah let do this

  • Brain chip for weed smokers - CHECK MY SITE.

  • WTF how come I didn't know about this last year. How can I live hear and not have known about this!

  • North Carolina Cannabis Association is doing it again this year - be there at the Old Capitol bulding, Saturday May 2, 2009!

  • Man...this is really gonna happen in my lifetime. We're so close to having a cash crop to deliver us from this economic collapse, a medicine to help our sick, and 10 more years of good music..Do you guys need any volunteers for your next event?

  • MJ is overrated

  • raleigh is cool but its boring

  • jonathanspruill--Strongly agreed. The is most of NC for you.

  • i want to fucking live here!

  • lol wtf selfish pleasure indulgers...

Going to kill society. Same as the hippies.

Ban overindulgence of alcohol instead of legalizing marijuana..

  • Right, because that totally worked out before.

  • If it gives someone an excuses to to mess with the rights of other people, it should not be illegal.

If it impairs your behavior, it should not be legal.

  • I need to move to this city.

  • damn i just moved to florida a year ago so i missed out on all this, i would have made signs and everything, and i would have been bazed as hell

  • you need to study robert menard and winston shrout you have it all wrong we can take back our freedom dont ask them for anything!!!

  • i bet if thay make weed legal and sale it in stores! i bet we can put wall street back up!!

  • fuck yah dude i cant w8 till may 2 its my bday and its the GMM, fuck all the haters

  • Ol'right! a group of marching Pot Heads! Fuck Ya, Wow..I live in this state..how come i didnt hear about this!?!?

  • with the availability of c.f.l lighting home growing is exceptionaly cheap. the process is called micro growing and is one of the stealthiest ways to grow. a whole set up can be constructed in areas as small as rubbermaid totes, small dressors, speaker boxes ect. also 400w hps light systems can be found for 150 or less. so in theory for 250 bucks you can grow ounce after ounce. i think my speech this year will be about e z efficient home growing of medical grade cannabis. thanks

  • I support the legalization of marijuana with the understanding there would have to be limits. For those against it I have food for thought for you " you dont hear about a pot smoker going postal!!" ?????

  • I believe Marijuana should be legalized for legitamite medical conditions. The rest of you hide behind the sick people, in hopes of getting legalized for all. That's disguisting. That's self centeredness at it's best.

  • The medical efficacy of medical Cannabis has always been a compelling issue on its' own and the need for alleviation of suffering is everyone's priority. But nobody's hiding behind anybody.

We are celebrating the versatility of this remarkable gift from Mother Nature and our Constitutional right to autonomy, while recognizing that prohibitions are always failures.

Alcohol prohibition was ended partly by non-drinkers, concerned about their communities. Nothing self centered about that.

  • @jsj297 I agree with you to a certain extend. On the other hand, how many people do you know that smoke and are sick? A lot of my friends in the Netherlands smoke it and they actually are people who seem to be never ill. So what's the point? The main focus: Help the people who need it!. You can get drunk whenever you want (if you want it), but people who rely upon it still have to fight. So legalize it!.

  • @jsj297

"medical reason" that's retarded...your retarded as the saying goes no victim no crime

  • Go NC!!!!!

I look forward to one day marching with them. :-)

  • Thank You. I totally agree. I am in North Carolina now and I think it should be legal for certain purposes. The government cannot tax it because they know if they legalize it, people will start growing it and noone will make a profit. If thats the case, then ONLY make growing it illegal!

I cannot smoke it medicinally because theres no reason for me to right now. I just like it alot better and think its alot safer than Alcohol!!!

    THANK YOU!

  • Chris1178R: Do you know how expensive it is to grow marijuana at home? Pot growers make a profit because the drug is illegal, therefore limiting the scale to which it can be produced, causing the price to rise through the principle of supply and demand. If it were legal, it could be grown in large fields, thereby increasing the amount of weed on the market and lowering the price. Home growing would become unprofitable and inconvenient. How many people do you know who grow their own tobacco?

  • Chris1178R: If it's going to be legalized, then making it illegal to grow makes no sense. If using it becomes legal, growing and selling it should also become legal. Everyone I know who smokes tobacco buys it at a store, in stead of growing it. There are a lot of tobacco fields in my part of the country, but they are owned by large-scale professional farm operations. If marijuana were legal to grow, people would still make a profit.

  • Cant beleive its not legal yet such a stupid thing to get busted over :P

  • its already like everybody knows what everyone wants and the answer is yes

  • haha id just like to mention that i have many fond memories of being at the north carolina marijuana march. i have been to it a few times . i think i have been the only person to have been kicked out of a nc marijuana march because i was getting a little out of control with a megaphone. i have been jeffs assistant at it ( jeff is the man ) and ran off with his phone.

  • LOL!

  • wish i could have went to march this year ohh well next year. iam a north carolina smoker and i say free the weed it's just a plant.

  • dude where about in nc, same here!

  • thanks to all for coming out and thanks to all the responses to the rally. I had a blast and met some real chill people. im the skinny black guy that was speaking about cannabis and hemp being american history and our flawed u.s laws that give mandatory sentences for drug offenses but probation for crimes with victims. thanks to Mr. Dargan for all your help and info brother. and support the bands SHILOH AND KING OF PRUSSIA

  • WOW. y'all really know about And Love Weed.

MAN WHERE THE FUCK WAS I AT WHEN THIS WAS GOING DOWN YALL TOO CLOSE TO HOME FOR ME NOT TO SMELL YALL.

  • wow.. i wish yall would march on down to Columbia!

  • We had a great crowd for Regina Canada, but nothing compared to the big U.S. cities. We had metal bands too, that seems to be a common thread this year. Great job North Carolina!

  • if health had not prevented it, i would have been there. sighhhh

  • i was sooo fucking there! i saw myself. i thank everyone who came, it was great and very fun. there was lots of positive energy and i think it was great.

  • i wish i could have made it this year!! next year for sure! USA for freedom!

  • i also don't like people caling it majauna that is a mexican slang word it should be called hemp or cannibus

  • There's a lot of debate on that, but it really shows the diversity of the plant. The different names have created de-facto catagories - "Cannabis" for medicine & science; "hemp" for industrial and food uses; and "marijuana" has become an integral part of our culture - in word and deed!

And don't forget "ganja" and "bhang", both associated with spirituality.

  • Mexican slang for weed is...Mootah.

  • great job but it makes us look un civilised we need to go about this the right way

  • I was there and these folks were some of the most civil and social people I've ever met. The good will they shared with passersby reminded me of our Journeys and how glad the public is to see their fellow citizens daring to speak the truth - at a time when truth is hard to find.

  • Great job of capturing the energy and positivity of the event... Way to go!

  • who is the speaker? He does a great job.

  • I really enjoyed meeting all these friendly folks. If we work together and get our friends to help, by next year we can have thousands on the streets of Raleigh. NC Cannabis is doing a great job. Thanks.- Steve

  • greetings from brazil, here we were prohibited to do the GMM! can belive in this!?

  • I heard about that. Keep up the fight in Brazil, they can't hold you back forever! You've got international support.

  • Great job, cannabis tv and Raleigh, love the music and crowd! Rock. Check out my vid on our march, worldwide!

  • Power to the Peaceful!

  • Looks like a good turn out, and good to see people from ALL walks of life support cannabis.

  • Great rally, great information, great reasons for hope?

  • Wonderful Rally - Beautiful People - Nothing could be Kinder than a Toker from Carolina!
