Use to be named Sambo's. But name changed in the early 80's I think. I'm trying to find the history right now that's what brought me here. Their was one across the street at Eastland mall.

I think these started as Sign of the Beefeater, and they got sued (or threatened). Had to change the name.

The food is flavorless. My grandparents took me there and I'd try everything in hopes of finding something that tasted good....never happened.

Beefcarver has the best Roast Beef,and fantastic Mac and Cheese!We used to eat at the one in Taylor,Mich.

We used to love this place,There was one near my Uncles in Detroit.
