  • Most likely it wasn't NIN themselves who even cares that you used it, or even knew that you used it. It was the record label and their legal department.

    Have a great holiday!

  • Yeah, I know. It wasn't Trent Reznor directly, but considering he owns his label, I kinda figured he'd go that extra mile. Y'know, a little clause like "leave my fans alone" or some such. lol

I do honestly think, though, that bands should pay more attention to that sort of thing. Lots of artists have lost huge fanbases over various internet mishaps. If you get all uptight with your fans, you become the next Metallica, and I would surely cry the day that NIN sunk to that level. :P

  • I as well had a video flagged because of the use of a NIN song which really sucks because not only was the editing based around the song, I lost the originals from a hard disk crash. :(

  • Shitty buzz dude. *hugs* When so many other artists give free reign on YouTube, it's weird almost that NIN doesn't.

  • Shame we wont be seeing more of you. YOur good at what you do

  • Thanks. :) And don't worry, I'll be posting a video again soon. Christmas has been supremely hectic.

  • Oh yeah Totally. Have a wicked X-mas \m/

  • Thanks, I kinda know where it is. I'm somewhat geographicaly impaired. lol My parents moved around a lot when I was groing up too. 10 times by the time I was 9 years old. (Now that I think about it, I'm old enough to say we didn't have the internet when I was a kid...weird lol) Keeping in touch is so much easier nowadays.
