One thing is certain, because we do not know...we can then start to know.
And poems like this enable one to start knowing.

ts ts.. Cyrus the Great, founder of the Persian Empire had a daughter Atossa. 'Twas but a play on words i.e. 'tosser -' which, like 'bugger' is used without much reference to the original meaning. I think Atossa married her husband's murderer - not sure - it's all such an incestuous mix .

It's no problem - I couldn't see Hannah's comment for some reason, so there was no context. I get it now - although I didn't know Cyrus had a daughter. You learn something every day!
