This is a beautiful interpretation and stands up well against other singers who were well known for their interpretation of this wonderful Bellini aria. I've not heard of Pertile being associated with the role of Arturo. This a welcome surprise for me.

Indiscutibilmente grande tenore, grande cantante, grande artista, ma devo dire che purtroppo qui non stà cantando nella tonalità originale. La nota massima di "A te o cara" è un DO #, Pertile invece fà un SI naturale, dunque è abbassata di un tono.

La voce è sempre splendidamente luminosa.

He has lowered it a hole step so instead of C# its B-natural as the high note.But the vocal quality is just perfection in every way what a super singer he was Mr Pertile

I wouldn't be too worried about the transposition, when Bellini wrote it the tuning was definitely lower. This A (LA) 440 Hz was made a rule of thumb in the 20th century. I'll send you a very interesting video about this issue.
