  • I really like this video. I have a macintosh classic.

  • Question, what Mac OS system did it run on?

  • System 6

  • System 7

  • Obviously it runs on, at the highest, A.F.A.I.K. OS 7.1.9

  • how do you make them talk??

    tom

  • It looks like the screen saver is blue.

  • Black and white screen? When you use Macpaint, I can clearly see colours! :/ Or am I wrong?

  • the camera makes it look like there is color but there is no color at all its kind of a weird affect.

  • wicked! mac vs pc and a chomp has been taken out of the windows logo! apple wins *takes bite of apple for logo*

  • no way I swear there are colours there!

  • you mean a macintosh classic with no color on the screen?

  • it's just the camera.

    there is no colour.

    :(

    lol.

i have one, and it's just like different patterns nd stuff at the bottom.

when you video it it always turns out blue ish for some strange reason.

    tom

  • Oh the memories of elementary school came back after watching this vid!!! I remember MacPaint well ^_^ And being the sophomoric children we were, my sister and I used to type curse words (back then "damn" and "hell" were major) in Speak.

  • very nice :) i have one to, where can I get that program speak?

  • I'll get you the link I have find it. I googled making macintosh clasic speak

  • 4 MB RAM? 8 MGz proccessor???? 24 MB HD????????

  • yes computers back in 1992 did not have much power yet they where still capable of allot of stuff. watch my pencil test video it was made on a Mac ll and had only i think 16MB of RAM.

  • wow that macintosh works almost better than my dell home vista 2007!

  • lol 1st try on StuntCopter he takes out the driver. Nice job Ty.

  • ha ha lol i did not even really notice that!

  • If you are ever lucky to hold a Classic, then there is a secret System 6 on the Rom. Start up your mac holding Apple Option X and O. It was suppose to be a network workstation mac but was released to everyone. Cool little feature, but not on the Classic II though... But useful.

  • Oh how far the Mac has come since 1990.

  • Tyler, If you don't ever need that classic, I will buy it off you for a considerable price, because I am a collecter of those things. leave a comment on my main poage. AndrewPoulain2007

  • thanks for the offer but i don't think i will be selling it any time soon, i wanted to buy a couple more old macs but every time i check ebay there gone. they are getting harder and harder to find.

  • I must Put up a demo of my Mac II ci. Good job tho !

  • thanks!

  • Where did you get the Macintosh Classic? Is the screen balck and white or is there color too?

  • i got it on ebay. and no the screen is black and white on the video it looks blue but its not.

  • Yeah, The screen saver looked blue.

  • Tyler! You did a great job witih that, and I give you 5 stars. I have to dig into my archives to find you some more software for that specific system. Well done, T! Happy New Year to you and your family. - Alfred

  • hey! thanks Al, happy new year to you also. well if you email me any software email it as i guess .SIT or .HQX files.. them are the ones that i have always used for the classic, i have an external floppy drive for my macbook so i make floppy's for the classic.
