Get this, in 1997 when I was only 7, I caught a 5lbs 40cm bonefish off the rockwall at Mooloolaba in SE QLD. Thing went so hard I dropped the rod, had no idea what it was, thought it was a massive whiting. Apparently they get them as far south as Fraser but I recon that would be the most southerly one ever caught on the East Coast, God knows what it was doing there.

those salmon are normal fair in salmon season, over here in WA. not uncommon for 7kg fish!

Dont even eat the shit! If your that desperate to eat them, eat them fresh! And eat juveniles between 22-30cm they will be the nicest. I use them for bait for shark.

Last year we caught an Australian Salmon and we kept it in the freezer for one year, and it went really bad, it was dark brown...

Tha's wierd cause normally you can keep any fish in the freezer for a long time. Is the australian salmon an exeption or we jus had bad luck??
