  • Epiphone

  • did you buy any of these yet

  • @MatKiller1197 I would, and was about to do it, but i got a good offer for a Alexi 600 and bought that pretty baby. It was a return from one guy that didnt like it, which was good for me, cause i saved 180€ at that time.

  • What only these are good guitars????

    I didnt get it....!

  • @sourceofflames Man, this video is a bit old. Dont you think so? At that time, they were the only options i had for my budget and specs i wanted at that time. Leave a constructive comment that helps other people, and not this kind of crap. Thank you.

  • @Themethalmaster Soz i didnt get the piont of the video(misunderstood).

Both are good i dont know these guitars well..

  • the epi is also neck-through, and in my opinion is a better guitar.

  • jackson soloist

  • id get the BC Rich.

  • I have the Epiphone Prophecy Futura and The Epiphone Prophecy Les paul and love them both, a am a little more partial to the Futura only because the neck is a tiny bit wider and it has a Floyd Rose! The Alexi is a a moded Rhoads isn't it?

  • @abomb13 Right. Alexi had a Jackson RR before he designed a ESP Rhoads.

  • neither.... ibanez, best guitars for your money

  • @OuterHeavenMetal He got an ESP already, best make there is !!

  • @metal4ever1997 i own an esp, and its shit, shit neck shit body crappy build quality... ibanez is the best

  • @OuterHeavenMetal What model ?

  • @metal4ever1997 alexi, then played an ibanez that was just over half the price an use that now instead, getting an agile 8 string after crimbo, but i'll never buy an esp ever again

  • @metal4ever1997 Thats weird . Both me and my guitar instructor have owned and ESP and an Ibanez, and we both prefer ESP, and he has the Horizon while I have a $350 dollar ESP, way better than my Ibanez

  • build your own... lol?

  • bc rich all the way

  • non us made bcrich are crap, go for the epiphone

  • I'd take the B.C. since you can actually pull up on the floyd unlike the epi. But the kill can make up for it I suppose. So, that decision is entirely based on what you like more: Pulling up on the floyd or the kill effect? Personally, I'd take the floyd.

  • they both look really poser :P

  • I'd go with Epiphone personally. I've played Epiphone the last 8 or 9 years and never had any major issues with any of them. Plus I'm a fan of the Explorer models so ;)

  • id go for the epiphone

  • Epiphone will never be better than BC Rich...

  • @OrderOfDeathDotCom why not ? have you played both of these guitars and read the specs? and to be honest flying v's are so over rated

  • @MrGasson It's not that it's a V. It's shape doesn't make the guitar, although the shape can play a role in the comfort you can get out of the guitar. I'm just telling you from my experience that any B.C. in the same price range as the delux V will smoke any epiphone just on quality and features. Most of these people don't know jack. Go to a guitar store and try them all, but don't buy anything. Wait a few weeks to pick one after trying them all out several times. This way you don't regret it...

  • @OrderOfDeathDotCom my friend has a dean split tail which is pretty much a v and a sg mashed together and my god its so uncomfortable to play, v's may look decent when your watching your favourite band play with them but when your playing one its bloody uncomfortable xD

  • @MrGasson I have a BC Rich Beast and a Gibson Les Paul. The Beast smokes the more expensive gibson in so many ways, but it's odd shape makes it very uncomfortable. One of the high in BC Rich Mockingbirds is an easy shape to handle. V shaped guitars are great for playing standing up or if you put it between your legs right when sitting down. The best thing about a V is total access of the fretboard. If you're into guitar solos like me it's almost the perfect shape...

  • @MrGasson And keep in mind I'm talking about high end guitar here. Something in the $700 on up range.

  • @OrderOfDeathDotCom well i dont really spend too much on my guitars since ive just started college lol and am reasonably new to guitaring (about a year now) i have an Ibanez GAX30 cheap and decent and comfortable.

Still i do find customising guitars the way foreward as im considering getting a pair of seymour duncan invaders. :D

  • The epiphone looks badass, the BC Rich looks like a rip-off of a jackson

  • bc is better but the second looks good w. also it plays good but not as good as bc not that bc doesnt look good but overall id go with other

  • oh my god rst ones good but 2nd one blows it out .second second second second

  • the guitar doesnt make the player, but u do need a killer tone to play metal. Id go with the ESP.

  • shut up...shut up...shut up...shut up or i'll fuck you up

  • how did u make this vid? like what software?

  • @SkullcandyFan2010 Movie Maker...

  • Don't buy an LTD or an Epiphone. Get an ESP M-II Deluxe and you're good...

  • epiphone

  • i have the bc....it fuckin ownz

  • id go for the B.C rich but get the widow head stock instead, the tone is more mean that way. i would never get a guitar that some one els's signature on it personally. plus the B.C rich jr deluxe is a shredders dream.

  • id go for the BC Rich man

  • both look completely awesome!!!! Either one dude I'd say you're gonna love, they look totally identical in sound and stuff, just chose the one with the better action on the fretboard

  • i got the first one, the JR V, its such a great guitar.

  • Epiphone is way better! whick one did you bought?

  • @RigorMortis203 ESP Alexi 600

  • @Themethalmaster yea good choice. over the others

  • 700 ?

thomann.de you get it for 522 (the marcus henderson )

if you has any doubt , get in contact with me

  • @111yamahabass

but this epiphine is only for metal :D

  • B.C. Rich! I have an NJ deluxe warlock. its sounds amazing and the specification is fantastic. active emgs original floyd neck through and pearl binding for that money. its unbeliveable

  • KoRn!!!! YAAAAA!!!!

  • BC Rich rules!

    An alternative choice: LTD V-401DX

It has two EMG 81, mahogany body, rosewood fingerboard and Floyd Rose Special

  • do teh Epiphone

  • Play em at the store and see which one feels good to you

  • I have the bc rich just the version with the beast headstock ....there virtually the same but fuck the epiphone i played it and it sucked the bc rich is way better get it

  • epiphone for fucking sure

  • i've played the Marcus Henderson, and tomrrow i'm going to put it on layaway. The Apparation is a fantastic guitar, and i am going to get it. i recommend it, but the ultimate test is up to you. you need to play both guitars and see which is more comfortable for you.

  • BC RICH

  • I have to say the Epiphone Apparition

  • @metalgamer06 Nah, doesn't have a hole for the FR = waay too high action

  • What about BC RICH WARLOCK BK BRONCE II its X shaped guitar and you can find it from Thomann

  • did you get a new guitar yet? It looks like you posted this question a year ago. Here's a video of a concept I'm going for but I have to build them. Selling 2 of them but so far no offers.

  • you should thank about a jackson such as a kelly or dinky there awesomse and play good

  • bc rich is the way to go

  • buy a bc rich mockingbird

  • B.C Rich

  • I did not try the B.C Rich, but I bought an Epiphone Apparition and it's a very good guitar.

Have a look on my video (check out my Youtube profile) if you want a little idea of the sound.

  • B.C RICH

  • bc rich all the way....epiphone SUCKSS

  • flying v

  • bc rich

  • bc rich

  • the bc rich

  • BC Rich for sure. no doubt about it

  • BC Rich

  • @SpiritAssasin LOL BC rich sucks! there the ultimate noob trap, they look nice but sound like shit!

  • @nottobeseenguitarist your words are that of a noob, bc rich are good quality instruments

  • @TH3C0RPS3R maybe there higher ends are, but other than that, there just terrible. bc rich doesnt give 2 shits about tone as long as it looks nice

  • @nottobeseenguitarist actually they just sway over to those METAL ONLY players, but they do have killer tones, not as good as my razorback, i dont really think any guitar has as much as a smooth crunchy tone as a dean razorback

  • @TH3C0RPS3R I pretty much only play metal, ranging from some of the softer bands like metallica to some of the heavier bands like cannible corpse or children of bodom. I just highly dislike the BC rich tone

  • @nottobeseenguitarist well i guess not every guitarist can dig the bc rich evil tone but i guess its just not for some guitarists

  • EPIPHONE MARCUS HENDERSON APPARITION from thomann for 545 Euros of course...

  • ive got the epiphone and it sounds shit i traded mine in and got the bc rich which sounds sweet and looks killer

  • @therealjordanchapman because they didnt put together good emg's, and its a signature model

  • can some1 make a review of apparition???

  • Apparition. If you want a real metal guitar...hopefully no crap like the Korn song that plays in the video.

  • in the end you didn't get any of the 2 right?

  • Right. I had the choice between this two and an Alexi 600. I think its obvious what i chose: The Alexi!! xD

Im very happy with my new guitar know, but this two are awesome too.

  • @Themethalmaster

Personally i would buy the BC RICH

But i think your pretty safe with the alexi ;)

  • @Themethalmaster I would have taken the jrv over the alexi 600 any day.

  • get apparition. i got it, and it rocks. emgs make really good sound and floyd rose just couldn't work better. neck is thin and has really good playability.

  • definatley the jr v deluxe. I played one and it kicks! I dont like how the v is so narrow though. other than that its great

  • the deluxe Jrv is a killer guitar...and also the apparition seems to not have cavity for the floyd rose to go up for squeelies and stuff only down for divebombs and regular vibrato.I would recommend the bc rich. Also the epiphone series use low quality woods. If i were you i would try both of them and see.

  • @Riv3leN. dude, with the apparition, marcus actually specified that the apparition have a deep enough cavity to do any kinds of crap on it

  • the 2nd one

  • Dude, get the fucking Apparation

  • easy dude the apparation

  • From what i've heard BC riches sound like shit and have terrible playability and i play guitar so i know what im talkin about. the apparation would be my recommendation- 1 cool look 2 kill switch 3 EMG's!!! 4- my friend has an epiphone and it's pretty nice it's a les paul but it's epiphone so idk his sounds nice i bet that explorer type epiphone sounds great too.

  • shut da fuck up idiot you dont know a shit!!

  • dude you don't even know how to speak english so go fuck yourself.

  • poor son of a bitch i dontknow how to speak english but you dont know a shit about guitars!!

  • come on! you see his cover of master of puppets,

    he knows a lot!

BTW BC rich JRV deluxe, that's what i would get,

  • the bc rich has emgs, better floyd rose, better wood, binding, and a sick body

  • yea...but the epiphone has a killswitch, awesome paint job, scythe fretboard inlay, a floyd rose, neat reflective pickguard, neat looking tuner knobs, plus the epiphone comes with picks, a neat booklet about the artist that created the guitar (i think..), and a new set of strings. better??? i think so.

  • easy. the epiphone apparition. no question. have fun!

  • for quality..by far the bc rich...if you want to be "unique" then get the other guitar for the pure reason it has a kill switch. Other than that, its quite inferior. I think the bc rich looks better too..fully body/neck/headstock binding and the quilt maple top on the henderson is low quality and ugly. The V has neck through construction for comfort and sustain...

    to each his own...

  • I'd go for the apparition, since it has the killswitch which makes it actually a pretty unique instrument. Also it has a cool explorer-y bodyshape and everyone has a V so you'd seem like an imaginationless tool with it.. kinda

  • the bc rich man

  • bc rich, the other one is ugly

  • secend

  • bc rich because:

    original floyd rose,emg 81 85,neck through,binding,24 bands!!!

thats what i call high end guitar!!

  • The apparition has all of those but i have no idea what neck through or binding is.

  • neck through is that the neck is just a piece going through the body and with tat you get acces to all of the 24 frets easily and it givs you much better sustain!!

binding is like a color-stripe going throg the guitar and thats just a cosmetic shit!!

  • i dont think neckthrough has anything to do with the cutaway, but then again im not a real gearhead

  • of course it has are you stupid or what??

  • Who has what now? Wait, am I stupid? Seriously though, what the hell do you mean by your comment?

  • if you're talking about the killswitch, then that's hardly a common feature.

  • oooh you were talking about the necktrough construction! my bad. I don't really se why you couldn't do the same to a bolt-on neck or set neck? Maybe you'd like to elaborate a bit, with me being so stupid and all, surely you can tell me.

  • this song was in mechassault 2 wasn't it?

  • Definatly the b.c. rich it has hi quality stuff but try the B.C. Rich DLXJRVO Deluxe Jr. V its better and cheaper

  • BC Rich. This Epiphone really sucks... Maybe Jackson DKMG, it's really awesome guitar.

  • Bc Rich. To be honest I tried both out and it really matters on what you think and how you think it feels. But with the BC Rich since It has both a locking nut and a string thru then it wont go out of tune as easy. Both have thick bodies. But the Bc Rich Is thicker. Also I tried both out, my friend has the Epiphone and I have the BC Rich. I liked the Bc Rich a little bit better. But it really matters on what you think. Try em out see how you like them.

  • Both Have Their Advantages, But I'd Go With The B.C. Rich.

  • epiphone..

  • idk bro.. when it comes to metal.... the tone is all about what YOU like.... go try em out...

id personally recomend the bc rich cuz its neck through which = better sustain... thats just me though cuz im a tone freak..

  • BC is for heavier music than ESP, and ESP has killswitch which is very cool :D

  • You mean the Epiphone? I tried out the B.C. RIch at a local Guitar Center and found it quiet enjoyable....also quiet easy to damage. That guitar is practically begging to lose it corners. You can't really play live gigs with it and its incredibly uncomfortable to play sitting down. It was perfect in every other way to me. You get a better deal with the Epiphone Package Deal for the Apparition- case, strap, strings, and chord $750 Musicians Friend

  • epiphone its cheaper but the bc rick has better tone so if your short on cash get the epiphone

  • BC Rich.

Open up the back plates on an Epiphone and find out why ;)

  • dude B.C RICH JR! i tried it and its amazing!!! the tremolo/whammy is perfect , the emgs are awesome, great sound and sustain, the only i would want to recommend is that (in my opinoin) to change the strings and there for some Nice Tite-Fit .09-.42 DR strings! and as for that other guitar the appration? i think its called? ok well i dont wanna make it sound horrible but i just love the emgs and tremolo, but it sounds exatly the same as the Peavy PXD void II (or I), yeh so get the B.C RICH

  • well both guitars are great i was actually going to buy an apparation but when i got to play one it wasent as great as i thought it would be so . . . . . . . . B.C Rich

  • hmmm, the epi in my opinion is better. but then again it does come down to ur preferances. the alexi esp wasent the best choice. when you break it down to what it real is, it's nothing special comaired to ur other 2 options

  • I dont think so. I think the quality is much better on an ESP Ltd 600 series than on a BC Rich Standard or an Epiphone.

I dont play a lot of songs with clean sound, tthats why the alexi 600 with the Seymour Duncan Blackout is perfect for me.

Now I have the guitar two weeks, I dont think that it was a bad choice compaired with the other two guitars,

  • just go to the shop and test some guitars

  • uuuhh yeah! Today is one of the best days in my fucking life. I have now an ESP Ltd Alexi 600. The sound is amazing, clean is not so good, but the distortion is so fucking amazing. And the best thing: I get it for 888€. I really love my new baby, and im so happy with it.

So, I hope this video helps other people who is deciding between this two guitars, like I did.

If I had to decide between this two, I would choose the BC Rich.

  • what a mind fuck this one is....im actually trying to figure this one out myself. 2 great guitars and great prices to boot. im making my choice by the end of the month... Haven't got a chance to play either guitar yet. Have u?

  • bc rich

  • id go with the eppy if these are you only 2 choices . ps.i hope you grow out of korn =D

  • i love korn

  • of course you do that doesnt make it right though =)

  • i dont know bout u but i would go for a jackson rr24 with the ebony it costs a bit more but its worth it it gives a great sound just me though

  • the bc rich. i own that exact one and it doesnt fail. its the perfect metal guitar

  • the BC rich is definitely better than the epiphone, but I'll always recommend Jacksons!

  • hey if ur'e considering abt playing metal.i wuld recommend an ibanez instead

  • i have both of those guitars. they are both very good. i like the apparition more because of the look and sound.GO WITH THE APPARITION

  • first guitar

  • Apparition ftw!

  • It maybe sounds a bit strange, but today I had sent the guitar (RG 2550z) back to the shop. The guitar was not bad, but the edge zero, in my opinion, its the biggest shit I ever played.

Now im deciding between a BC Rich Kerry King V with Kahler and PA2, or the NJ Deluxe with Floyd Rose.

It was a mistake to buy the Ibanez, because it is not bad, but not perfect too.

So, which guitar do you recommend me, a Kerry King signature with preamp and Kahler, or an NJ Deluxe with Floyd Rose?

  • Get the Kerry V. Sound and playability is really good. Not from experience. But from what I heard. It also has a mean sound to it for metal songs

  • buddy go with the Kerry King suposidly sounds better, but make sure they come with EMG's

  • BC rich!! the epiphone sucks

  • i would of gone with the bc rich

why i have a deluxe warlock and it kicks ass!!@!@!@!@!

  • no dude

the apparition pwns the bc rich..

  • really coause i won the bc rich and i have played the other one at marshals

in my opinion the bc rich owns

    but thats my opinion

  • Hey!

Thnx to all people who helped me.

I finally decided to buy something different, a Ibanez RG 2550z. Why? Because I get it for 790€, the original price is something like 1095€. After reading a lot of reviews, I think that this guitar is a good choice, and I can be shure that the quality is good too. A lot of people says that the BC RIch quality sometimes is not so good as they say in their descriptions.

So, an Ibanez Prestige for 790 bucks, I think its OK,

    Thnx to all!!

    Themethalmaster

  • If it were me I would get the Apparition. I like the shape better, plus it has the killswitch on it, and the scythes on the fretboard look kick-ass.

  • epiphone for sure

  • The marcus henderson plays amazing and it looks better than the BC Rich

  • Marcus Henderson Apparition

  • where is the bc rich made? if hey're both chinese i'd go with marcus...

  • I Think the BC is made in China. Why do you prefer the markus guitar? (Shape, features...?)

  • well, they're almost the same guitar, both have EMG's and Asian OFR, 24 frets, but I dunno how thick is the fingerboard, but I already know Marcus' is really nice for tapping, IMO you should get an Ibanez RGR1570, 699 dlls and Edge Pro Tremolo (Is not crap like Edge III, almost as nice as OFR) with shredders neck but If of those 2 the marcus would be the closest to Ibanez, anyways Bc Rich made a good one with that V....

  • i say BC Rich NJ Jrv Deluxe

    Because Epiphone are CHINESE

(i have an epiphone Les Paul and the sound isn't so good as i know)

  • I was thinking about buying that BC rich, but im stuck between this and dean MKH signature, maybe you can help me out,,,sorry for the bad english

  • well I hope your a metal head cuz if not your fucked, but in my opinion their both good but personally a prefer the X shape so i would go with the epiphone and im not a big fan of the V shape, so go for the Epiphone cuz persanally think their a more realiable guitar.

  • I say EPIPHONE!!!!!

  • The bc rich finish is much more better

  • I would go for the apparition...in terms of hardware, both are nearly the same. The apparition has more "stage presence" imho.

  • definetly the epiphone

  • geez kinda tough, both very similar. it might come down to looks. in that case i'd go for epiphone. im partial to ibanez as far as playability :)

  • Go with the Epiphone...for sure.

BC Rich sound...from my expierence is really flat and boring.

  • Can anybody tell me what does the kill button do?

  • a kill button is nothing more than a switch that cuts the sound when you you hit strings. The best exemple for this sound is Jordan, from Buckethead. Listen to the intro of this song.

PS: You could find the song in my favorites
