To those who are outraged, this is a film, not real life. Of course real working women wouldnt have time to meet up as much as they do or have time or the money to go on spontaneous holidays or buy all those clothes. Its an exaggerated, heightened version of reality. It portrays four different characters who are working through real problems that women can relate to. Just enjoy it. Yes there is a recession, but films like this are a great temporary escape from. reality
You think that people that loose their house to corrupt banks in a time of crisis give a fuck about a roomsize closet for their shoes? Totally insulting this film to real americans, real people.
wow, they really talk about this film like it's a work of art, to me it's nothing but: half-empty, mediocre-acting, false, escapism and really shallow, no layers what so ever, yet a commercial success. It's like a postcard...it only includes the best of things. not sayin' I hate it, I love the series, but now it's just gotten way out of hand......is so shallow..
New York really does look like the place where things just happen and life is always booming. I've always thought SF was better, but never have I doubted the magic of NY.
@SandrineSoprano The girl is Jennifer Hudson. Let it be known that Carrie interviewed other clients who weren't black who also didn't have the right qualifications, so the fact that her assistant was black doesn't mean anything. One chick Carrie interviewed was white, but she was also a drunk, so what's your point? You must be a black chick to make that comment, and I'm a black chick too. But everything isn't a racial issue to me. Stop looking for racism where there isn't any. It's just a movie!
