This is the reason why I will always use my camera when I get pulled over. If the cop asks me why I'm using it, I'm gonna tell him there's nothing against the law for it. Same reason I hate going to the court, they say no camera phones allowed but why? There's NO law for it. They just don't want you to bring it in because if they can't get you on the first charge they'll get you on the second so they want to screw you someway or somehow. @RobDamnImFine I agree that you should be permitted to record anything that has to do with yourself, but there IS a law against it. Passed in 2004 if I remember correctly. You must notify the officer they're being video recorded and if the officer doesn't agree to it you are not permitted to continue. Audio recording however is not included in the law so you can aim the camera away and get as much audio as you like completely legally.

Any time there is a police officer in my general vicinity, I am in a state of unease. There must be some good cops, but for my own personal safely, I assume police in general are dangerous and really try to stay as far away from them as possible. I have never been arrested, I have never been pulled over, and I am afraid of US police officers. Thats just sad

It's not your job to beat the injured person up, especially not when it can be fatal.

I've been on a few calls on a Fire Engine where we were going to a stabbing. We show up, with a guy down in the street bleeding. He gets up as we get off the rig, and runs off. This is the reason why I will always use my camera when I get pulled over. If the cop asks me why I'm using it, I'm gonna tell him there's nothing against the law for it. Same reason I hate going to the court, they say no camera phones allowed but why? There's NO law for it. They just don't want you to bring it in because if they can't get you on the first charge they'll get you on the second so they want to screw you someway or somehow. I'll be prepared next time I ever get pulled over.

@RobDamnImFine I agree that you should be permitted to record anything that has to do with yourself, but there IS a law against it. Passed in 2004 if I remember correctly. You must notify the officer they're being video recorded and if the officer doesn't agree to it you are not permitted to continue. Audio recording however is not included in the law so you can aim the camera away and get as much audio as you like completely legally.

That cop is way too late to do you any good any way: We have been given the right by God - not by the government - to bear arms and use them in self-defense, so licensing guns by the State is an act of tyranny / a crime against humanity that most governments are now guilty of, because people with guns are a defense against tyranny, which is why the Founding Fathers made provison for it, and why they want to take it away from us now.

Actually you are totally wrong -- the bible dosen't give you any rights -- there is no bill of rights in the bible.

I want the cops to be properly motivated as servants to the public, not as bullies that feel they have a license to commit crimes unpunished, only because they wear a uniform. Studies have shown that in when speaking to someone the actual content of your message only counts for 15% -- what is more import is how you present you message ( ie your image) since body lanuage and tone of voice count for the remaing 85%.

Most of the time, the video is only showing the "after". What happened before, we don't know. I have never had a run in with the cops. If I get pulled over, I wouldn't worry because I didn't do anything wrong. But, punks today, think that THEY are above the law. Then they wonder why they get their asses beat. How many have guns? We still don't know. Unless you were there, or have the WHOLE video, it is hard to say who is in the wrong.

please research before just saying all cops are shit. some of the videos like the old lady with the female officer holding onto her arm. that lady was armed with a knife in a Wal Mart parking lot. The officer could have used deadly force but didnt she took the lady to the ground. And there was a bunch of on-lookers not doing anything but yelling at the officer. He could be dead, or severely injured, and as a law-enforcer, it's your job to treat any injured - whether it be a criminal or not - as an injured civilian who is in need of medical assistance. It's not your job to beat the injured person up, especially not when it can be fatal.

@BGSpotlight I agree with you 100%.. however, Ihave seen that specific clip before, and, the man who was ejected out of the car had attempted to hit several officers throughout that pursuit, and succeeded in striking one of the officers while he was trying to deplyoy stopstix. I've been on a few calls on a Fire Engine where we were going to a stabbing. We show up, with a guy down in the street bleeding. He gets up as we get off the rig, and runs off. You just don't know what's gonna happen..

I can;t say I agree on the being put in jail for a very long time... Fired? hell yea! Give 'em 30 days in solitary, and 2 years probabtion, and make them pay restitution to the person they assaulted. Jail wouldn't/doesn't do enough. 30 days alone to think about how much of a f*ck up they are, then 2 years of not being able to break a SINGLE law, traffic or otherwise, and give them a $2,500 fine payable ONLY to the person they beat...

I hope they watch these videos, and do something harmful to themselves afterwards, because some of them really deserve it. None of them deserve to die - that would just put them out of their misery.
