Thank you! Sorry, I don't have a tab either. The only advice I can give is to use tools like Audacity to play the original at any pitch, speed and/or tempo you like. That way you ought to be be able to figure out how to play this one in open G tuning!
Bert, first let me say this was great, doesn't get any better. I am going to be watching this a whole lot more.
I have tried the Alaska picks briefly and found that I didn't like the feeling of having anything stuck between my finger nails and flesh. I will give them another try after listening to the results you are getting with them.
Are you using the build in microphone of the Flip and was you pick up plugged in?
Bert, that was really nice. I'm pleasently suprised by the tone you produce with those Alaska picks. I listened twice. Your slide work is just .... well, I'd have to say great!
Just heard this tune at the end of "Goin' South" and had to check it out on youtube. Great rendition!

@WilliamBlakeL4D Thx! Guess that's Ry Cooder's version on electric guitar in the movie (haven't seen it though).

Thank you Chris! Yes, Alaska picks feel strange at first, and you do need some nails to keep them positioned!
I didn't use the Flip mike, I record straight into a laptop with a bettrer mike and later sync the video with the audio again.
And yes, I did use the soundhole pick up, more or les 60/40 with the mike I guess.

Thank you Chris! I consider those picks almost equivalent to nails. I do think my slide is still rattling too much though.
