I have driven through Mississippi as I do not remember seeing a state lottery. If it was not for Texas Governer Anne Richards, Texas would still not have the Lottery. If you limit your spending on lottery tickets, then it is not gambling. I play it for the fun of it. I only play $2 per game as that is my limit. Conservatives are against the lottery as they do not want of the poor in their neigborhood.

This segment is rather amusing since, 20 years later, Mississippi has gone far past bingo halls and lotteries and now has giant luxury casinos along the Gulf Coast.
