How can one describe what this song, Daniel's honesty about his own life, his music meant to them?

What an amazing, deeply moving version of a legendary song! Even now, 11 years on, I still ache for the fragile young man in that video. His inner struggle is so plain to see/feel when you look at the footage from that time period. And despite going through a terribly difficult time, Daniel never failed to shine on stage and deliver some of the most brilliant performances of his career. I will always love him and feel deeply connected to this band forever. <3

It's so strange to watch Daniel perform this song from the time when all that stuff was still clearly affecting him.

It just has a certain painful quality to it, you can really see how emotional the song is to him. As opposed to watching later performances where Daniel has distanced himself from the pain of that time.

It's such a powerful song, it has helped and continues to help so many people.

I will always love it. <3
