@creat4fun Hi there, an update video of the build progress is now up.. I will post a running engine video very soon, when ive built the exhaust bracket. This does sound amazing running, i guarantee its worth waiting for :-D
@DJczcz Hi and thanks for your interest. The boat is a little way off a test run at the moment but please bare with me! I will post another video with all the updated progess in the next few days. The engine runs beautifully now and sounds amazing. I have had a set back with repeated inlet manifold failures and have had to build my own from scratch. cheers :-)
the clutch problem is now sorted if any one is interested....?! you need to use 3 x 22mm springs with about 1/3rd of the tension of the standard mini moto ones. the clutch now engages about 300 rpm above idle. New video up real soon with 99% complete boat with running engine.. i promise :-) I just need to finish making a new inlet manifold.. from scratch as usual!!!
i have done lots to the boat since i posted the video and will put another video up soon.
if anyone else has used this engine in a boat i would be very interested to hear from you with regards to which tension of clutch springs you used, if so please feel free to leave a comment. cheers.
