What if the abuser used to be a soial worker so knows they have to be careful not to leave a mark, so beats the child round the head and emotionally abuses them? and what if that child then self harms and attempts suicide to get out?

stairgate what should it be to you if other people have jobs or not, i have a job im 17 i worked at local riding stables at the age of 11 i now work with kids. an am earning money not much but enough to get buy on.
Get a job, get a life. Get offline and meet real people. Join the Army, join the Police, get some credibility before you pipe up. Do something constructive with your life. Stairgate: Your assumption that people who comment on youtube are all prospective TV critics is verisimilitudinous at best; as is your determination to labour under the misapprehension that I am unemployed. I am in fact gainfully employed at present as a charity volunteer. My most beneficent and altruistic act to date, however, has to be throwing a big, old dirty fuck into your Maw.
Grammar? How about a comma to separate the terms on your poor, little, uneducated list.
Little sweaty sock from Glasgow.........you pale thin weed. There isn't a fuck in you. As predicted, it's taken so long for you to research your reply that I had to get bored of you all over again. Jami376, you poor little uneducated chav. If you had 1/2 a brain (sorry about the confusing fractions, from maths? never mind) you'd know that Britain starts with a capital B (like your name should). School boy errors. You also repeat many words which shows poor vocabulary, preparation and sentence structure. I guess you also were "too cool for SKOOL" and smoked early, right? Sad and very pathetic but a real problem for the tax payers amongst us to keep feeding you and your kind.
@stairgate HAHAHAHAHAHA mate, even if someone was a 'chav' (nice Daily Mail terms there), even if someone couldn't spell a single word, even if they were dumb, blind and deaf and were never in the same country as you - THEY COULD STILL TELL YOU A GIANT WALLOPER OF A HUMAN BEING. Has nothing to do with grammar or spelling. So you hate on people who haven't had the educational opportunities you've had or because they spell you as U. So fucking what, you are pathetic and probably smell of shite.
Isn't he the guy who tried to commit suicide onstage whilst acting The Bill?
Scary stuff. I love The Bill, anyway. And this dood's addressing a good cause so it doesn't matter that he's not a real police officer. More people would look at this and listen to it than if it was a random, (real) police officer.
maybe, they did it because people are more familiar with the actors of the TV then a bloody big copper telling them, sometimes young teens get scared or nervous when dealing with or talking to the police so i think its a good idea
it is a very good idea indeed. My reply was directed at ehrightdingys "pig" comment not about the video. I just hope it gives somebody the strength to reach for help. Sorry you thought it was directed at the video itself.
no not at all, i wasnt really having a go at you, i saw your comment but really it was aimed at anybody and i was just mainly putting my view forward on the situation and yes the person who did write "pig" needs to grow up. I am sorry if you thought I was aiming at you.
PS a police man that I know, his mother said to me that PIG stands for something, so really you could be in the right by calling a copper that PRIDE INTEGRITY & GUTS, anyone agree?
Never min all that, he is addressing a serious issue, and i think we should respect that. Child offenders should be shot. they deserve no mercy. it is not a mental issue and there is no treatment for it. It is against nature, and humans are not born to think ion that disgusting way. Well done ITV for bringing light to this issue, I hope other channels and organizations work together on this one.
Yes but wouldn't it be better to have the REAL police doing this than a bunch of celebrity Whores! That is all I'm pointing out I mean we do pay for the police!!!
Yes but wouldn't it be better to have the REAL police doing this than a bunch of celebrity Whores! That is all I'm pointing out I mean we do pay for the police!!!
Possibly gekiryudojo if your dealing with adults, but to get the message to kids i think they're taking the right road. cause remember these youths (well some of anyway) watch the show twice each week so they are far more farmiliar than (no offence intended) just an ordinary copper.
bring hemingway back from the dead-to write scripts -to the bill.hmmm yes.tired of all those former advert writers turned bill script writers running things
Why is it almost every episode of The Bill is about paedophiles or rape? And that it's always a White man that's a paedophile or rapist. My best guess is The Bill is too politically correct to dare cover other stories or because it's shown on ITV1 it makes the large female (I say that in all aspects) audience feel good and cosy in a twisted sort of way about all the big bad White men out there that are going to rape them or their children. After all when do these women ever get out the house?
I suggest you grasp the concept that the bill is not real and furthermore that anything coming out of a television is distorted on a large scale. If you think your "guess" maybe well founded why don't you try and write a well thought out letter detailing your feelings to Ofcom or just shut up?
Maybe you should try and "grasp" the concept that television, whether fictional or non-fictional is extremely influencial on how societies perceive certain subjects. Judging by your profile I'm guessing you're some uneducated chav who doesn't know what they're on about so maybe it's you who aught to be shutting up considering you don't even understand anything about the media. It's not surprising you don't understand. Go watch some more of The Bill and enjoy how much it's slandering your kind.
NoOneThoughtOfThis1, you sound very bitter and twisted about something. If you don't like it, no one is forcing you to watch as for your 'large female' comment how are you any less guilty of the sterotyping you accuse producers of the Bill of?
I suggest you take a bex and have a nice lie down in a quiet room.
That really depends on what kind of TV you watch doesn't it. There is quite a lot of rubbish, but some really good stuff too.
Anyway I see the Bill as more of a soapie (ie. the Gabriel Kent thing) than anything else but it is still fun, and occasionally has some really serious stuff.
And if the actors involved can highlight serious issues such as this and get through to some, how can it be a bad thing?
Thats a great way of advising children on how to report abuse, it works so well, and as for you rooneyzwifey or whatever your name is you clearly don't know the effect of using celebrity to stamp out abuse IT WORKS! The Bill is great :).

Apart from Daniel Flynn and Bruce Byron doing this commercial, were there any other actors from the bill doing this commercial?

As parents, we all want to protect our children when they go online.
Thanks to advances in technology this is getting harder and harder to
do. Internet predators are getting smarter and so are children.
Imagine that 'hen you plug your USB drive into your computer, you can access any
site on the web. Once the flash drive has been removed, your kids can
only visit sites that you have approved. Thanks to SnipeSlider It is possible!
