GoPro HD Snow Skiing at Sugar Mountain North Carolina. Eric's 1st Time Skiing

They're supposed to get snow this week i love sugar mountain but i go to the top of the mountain and snowboard down.

u will get it :)... VERY fast :)... u will find (if u havent already) that it is extremely easy to sky once u have the hang of it... good luck :)

Best way to learn how to stop on a dime is to find a flat surface. Then , practice turning both skis (parallel to each other) to your right or left. If you can do a 180 on a flat surface while NOT in motion you can do the maneuver easily while in motion. doing the snow plow only works well at low speeds-- which screws beginners over when they get going to fast. It is actually really hard on  your groin muscles--if all else fails just plop on your butt. HAH

Way to go Eric, never to old to learn a new sport like downhill. I picked it up about 15 years ago, I'm 47 now, and I love the feel of my 190cm skis flying down Manning Park at about 40 to 50 mph...What a rush!!! You go brother and keep your son interested, tell him theres lots of chicks on the mountains too, lol...
