What I love most about Mitch is that most of his stuff isn't funny at all, but somehow he makes us laugh at it. He was able to turn his stage fright into the most unique delivery in decades. The man was a true genius and was taken from us way too soon.

With an existing heart condition like Mitch had there's no way to say whether or not his heart would have stopped working that night without the influence of drugs. Also, the toxicology report that came with the CR shows minute amounts of drugs, not even enough to OD a small child.

Mitch Hedberg was a heroin addict with a heart condition. The night that he died tthere was cocaine found in his sytem indicating that he had been given a speedball instead of heroin. The cocaine may have affected his existing heart condition leading to heart failure. The autopsy, however, cannot express this as correlation isn't causation.

Drug use didn't kill Mitch, if he'd had his drug of choice from a regulated source there would have been any coke in his drug of choice.

Con't If the cocaine in the drug that Mitch thought was heroin caused his heart failure then prohibition killed Mr. Mitch Hedberg. If the drug laws were repealed street drugs would be held up to the same FDA scrutiny as everything else that we put in our body.

Regardless, his death certificate reads Heart Failure not Overdose of Narcotics and these are two very dfferent things.
