Interesting, but you missed the most important point about miso - miso is NOT raw. Not by any means. The beans or grains used are always steamed before the fermentation process begins.
I thought that Scottish or Irish oat are not steamed. They are stored in vacuum sealed containers, because they will go bad very fast once exposed to air. As well, I don't cook oatmeal, because oats taste better raw. I put them in a dry blender and blend them into a powder, add water and eat. I am told that Scottish or Irish oat have lots of vitamin B. Let me know if I am miss informed.
Hi there! It depends on the company. Most raisins (at least that are available in lower BC) are dried at a temp below 105F, but I would call the company directly. Most companies provide contact numbers on the packaging, or you can search for them online. However, most companies use sulpher as a preserving/drying agent, and this isn't the good stuff. Up to you if you are Ok with this :)
I consider rolled oats to be the most processed, steel cut oats are a better version, but the best are oat groats. The groats can be soaked and eaten like an oatmeal too! A perfect raw version of oatmeal!
Why put all of the icing on your cupcakes. Answer the questions man!!!
