The ratings came out and Jay Leno had the worst time Summer ratings ever for his show and he STILL beat out Letterman by 22%. I mean Letterman had that 7 month window when he was in that horrible primetime show. I mean this would never have happened if NBC just left everything the same. Jay do his Tonight Show and let Conan do the Late Show. Everything would have been fine, but NBC decided to rock the boat.

@karlanickita Well basically Jay Leno stepped down as the host of the tonight show, and Conan O'Brien took over. After Ratings for Jay's new show went down hill, They asked Jay to come back to the tonight show and Jay said OK. This really Pissed off Conan O'brien so he decided to Leave NBC all together, a lot of people feel Conan got Screwed.

@kreugfire926 Hey dude I used to watch and like Jay. But this whole Conan thing has retroactively made his old stuff i used to like hard to watch, and his current stuff seems lame. He actually has gotten less funny. Its like watching Seinfeld right after Michael Richards rant, like watching Rock Hudsons movies afta you found out he was gay. The perception of Jay has changed for the worst and it has in effect made him less funny.

I have always preferred conan to be honest with you, even though I have always liked jay, Conan I thought was funnier. I just think people need to stop thinking Jay is "Evil" just because NBC asked him to take back his job at the tonight show, Jay was just doing what he was told.
