off the hook track, lyrics are solid, beats nice as fuck, the only issue i have is that the mixdown was rough as fuck. The adlibs are completely off time consistantly throughout the track, if it were engineered a lil nicer, this could be an underground classic.

Maybe that is just the case here in Norway. But anyway, I have my own home recording studio,with only a mixer,soundcard and a condenser mic, and I get decent enough sound,and by knowing the right people who can mix it,you can get a good result. But I'm not sure if this gritty mix was what Lush and Saurus wanted though

i, myself, prefer a great sound quality to my recordings, as do my friends too (do a search on "Intelekt ft. Dyvers and Hunter - It Wasnt Us". its not on my account, as a friend made the clip) thats probably as BAD a quality as we allow for... but so many guys in the states make dope music with shitty audio quality, and lord knows why that is.

a grittier sound is what we wanted but this was pretty much a basement recording and never mixed (but it was mastered). the only reason we kept it and made a video was that hella people had been wanting it and the director really liked the song. Peace yall

Im not sure.. pretty low budget.. not even a vocal booth.. if it had been mixed it would have made a big difference.. the song was recorded at the last minute and me and the saurus just really needed a studio to rock at since my usual labs were busy that day. most tracks that i've released on actual projects are significantly higher quality.. much respect homie, PEACE!

Not only that, it gets repetitive and that 'feeling' dies out pretty quickly as the song goes on.
