  • Since the engines were hand built, every one had a different amount of horsepower. no terminator engine is exactly the same as another. They dyno stock anywhere from 330ish rwhp to almost 400rwhp which is what yours probably was close to stock. So much for the sticker saying 390bhp. You got a lucky one, and it is beautiful as well.

  • @ninetysevengt your right about being hand built and different, but ford sand bagged the HP numbers to keep it under 400 horsepower, most terminators came factory with about 420 HP and with very simple mods and dyno tunes can gains lots of HP. I've seen pullied cobras with an exhaust and intake make well into the upper 400's

  • @kclpj 420 bhp is the generally assumed power coming from a stock one, although that is on the lower end of what they can come. When Ford labelled it under 400, I'm pretty sure it was for insurance reasons. But they have understated before. The 2000 Cobra R's were said to have 385bhp but people have dynoed them stock to have that at the rear wheels. But either way Cobras are amazing no matter what the sticker says.

  • did the mystichromes have a bit more power?

  • @khenry1991 no, just a cool ass paint job.
