many people complaint about Andre´s death, but Tolstoi had to do it in order to keep it real, as war is. Otherwise, it would have been too romantic.

But true is, the story is drama what I could expect.

It is an excellent read. Be warned though- it's hard to get into at first. There are so many characters and places to remember that it can be daunting in the beginning.

After reading the first half, I knew I would never read a better book. So far, I haven't found one :]

@missymoo35 War and Peace is kind of book that is to be read anyway. Just for you to feel more educated, cause it's world classic. After I finished reading I felt like...like I've done something epic, like something importaint has happened...well, my English is too poor to express theese all =)

And I even can't imagine how it is possible to translate War and Peace from Russian into English without losing the point of how Tolstoy describes all happening in the book.
