There is a company in Ireland - ARK STAINLESS LTD, they specialized in stairs too. They best stairs would be steel structure stairs with glasses and stainless steel handrails - try them as well.
This is very disturbing. "Wooden spindles are out of date"? With the cost of spindles and the clearcutting of land these days it makes me cringe to see them destroy al that wood. We are a decadent society, bereft of meaning and drowning in boredom. "For years" the homeowner has been thinking about it? How about volunteering your time in some community project or hospice. That'll give you something to think about. Take your mind off spindles.
@clyffe347 You must be thinking of spindles or you wouldnt of found this video...If you want to save the world, more power to you! Dont rag on what other people like.
@tscat68 As a person who makes my living as a carpenter, I do not see any conflict between being careful about waste AND being creative - in fact, the two often go together. I see that your company is based in Ireland? How are you enjoying the record-cold winter? As the song goes, "A Spoon Full of Sugar Helps the Medicine Go Down", and nothing is gained by antagonizing you. We all grow. 20 years ago I moved onto 10 acres of forested land and built a house. I would do it differently now.
this video is about 4 years old and it is still trendy in most parts of the u.s. especially in the south, midwest and west. But i do agree that it isn't for everyone as it must go with the architectural styling of the home. thanks for your opinion!
I am not convinced that wrought iron is necessarily trendy. And if it is trendy, is that a reason to put in wrought iron. I can see having wrought iron in Spanish adobe style homes, but to me the classic style of wood, regardless of what is the rage right now, the style of the house should dictate style, and iron can work in certain styles, but I am not certain it looks better that what was originally there. Can you imagine the nightmare of putting this iron in an Arts and Crafts home!
Looks amazing! But I'll have to keep our wooden ones, I love the elegant look of wrought iron but it doesn't go with our interior :(

Wow- this is GOOD. This company (and owner) REALLY know what they are doing. I think their product is nice looking, too.
