  • i want to come in this place it's my dream

  • i love the surf on the gold coast.

  • Im from vancouver and i`ll tell you rite now that gold coast is 100X more beautiful.

  • @gonein30sec but the vancouver is still really beautiful

  • I live in finland and my BIGGEST dream EVER is to move there!! The best place on earth :)

  • @iMichmusic The Gold Coast isn't very livable.. you'll get bored once you see and do all the "touristy-things" and the only work you can get, is either working in hospitality or building skyscrappers, you need to live in one of the capital cities.... Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.... but because your from Finland... i think you'll find Brisbane the most appealing... coz the Germans seem to like it most...

  • @cttn101 OKay thanks, I'll keep that in mind :)

  • I live there... its too much of a tourist destination. And there is literally no CULTURE!

  • @Gismozo I agree I live here it attracts all the wankers from the rest of the country to here and the beachs are average compared to places up north

  • @Gismozo i agree that it is very "touristy", thats because everyone from Sydney & Melbourne visit the all the theme parks, like Dream World, Movie World etc.... and define culture..?? , its more some cultures seem more in-your-face, and others more appealing, and some just younge & relaxed like GC... if you want Culture, Australian Culture.... you visit Sydney & Melbourne... its probaly more correct to say British Culture for these Cities... Queensland is more stereotypical Australian..

  • Togther with tamborine this is paradise ptiy about some of the people who now live there

  • The Miami of Australia in one sentence.

  • To be honest the beachs arent that special its just 1 long strip of sand

  • awesome city :]

  • The Gold Coast is soooooo similar to Miami in Florida.

  • @MrStubbja better

  • @MrStubbja sort of exept Miami is more like low rise apartments. both places are great places to visit for a holiday but have immense crime rates. we have a suburb on the Gold Coast called Miami which is where i live

  • i though the gold coast was in california?

  • @Ramsuzz405 Im gonna be honest, i didnt think the gold coast was that big and other people in the world knew about it O.o

  • @Ramsuzz405 i though miami was in Australia.... wait it is. Miami, GC

  • @IDGeneratorS they still got that methodone clinic for the junkies in miami or they move it to palm beach near the mental health unit

  • @Ramsuzz405

I bet there are 2 billion places like 'Hamilton' , 'Ashfield' , 'Madison' ...etc

in every English speaking country too

  • Why would you want to holiday on the gold coast, waste of money and time, shit state and city including brisbane.....

  • Schoolies <3.

  • Man made disaster. Its a bunch of ugly man made highrises on a beach with some el cheapo theme parks and thrills woopdy doodle do.

    Melbourne rocks!

  • @MegaJdog27 yeah - Melbourne does rock - literally. Best pubs in the country. I could never handle the winters there though.

  • @syncstation :), You just have to embrace the Winter. Rug up in front of a log fire (If your lucky enough to have one), put a coat on and have a hot drink, plus theres heaps of things you can do indoors in Melbourne so it really doesn't matter what the weather is. I say anytimes a great time to be in Melbourne. Rain, Hail or Shine.

  • Im from slovakia but my friend live here xD

  • i wish i can live there. my parents were going to move there before i was born but then they desided not to cuz they said australia is far away from other countries and other stuff. but im going there in 4 years for my b-day !! i cant wait

  • @Karoleyna WOW, that's a good birthday present, going overseas to Australia. How funs that!!!

  • @MrStubbja i know! i cant wait. its just the plane ride thats 24 hours long, and i have to pay for 3 tickets. oh well at least its worth it

  • Comment removed

  • best place in the world.

you just get the most amazing feeling being there.

I live in Toowoomba, so i try to get there as much as i can

  • I have lived on the gold coast for my whole life.. it is a very diverse place sunshine most of the time.. it a great holiday destination.. however i want to move away its too much of a holiday here dosnt seen like reality.

  • *sigh* Gold COast is sooo awesome and i live there

  • i wanna live in surfers paradise

  • Richest Non main city in australia.

  • I live 50 mins from the Gold Coast and i wanna live there for the rest of my life, i love it there.

  • lol tis a great place to be bought up

  • i will be there this new years eve cant wait

  • I am one of the few Gold Coast born and bred. I have spent my whole life on the coast, out in Numinbah valley and i wouldn't have it any other way.

  • pffft few your not few what r u on bout lol?

  • its true. most are from elsewhere in AUS, or overseas.

  • congrats

  • @hepalopala yeah i spent a few years in Numinbah too >.> what were you in for? lol

  • @CyberPirateTrader

    hahaha ;)

  • Gold Coast is heaven to me. Holidays in beachfront apartments with the family have been the best days of my life! It's a shame I've grown up now and no longer do it every year. One day I'll buy a beachfront place

  • Australia is fab, loved every day I was there and the sun is so wonderfully relaxing. I see why people out there are so laid back, lol....maybe a little too laid back? :)

  • yay! i live there its the best place ever!

  • Your retarded

  • Oh fuck off you pathetic multiculturalist Nazi. You're the real fucking racist.

  • I live there :D

I dont want to ever move away. I love everything about it including the warm climate, the tourist attractions and the beaches. There's so much to do here.

If you want to come here for a holiday then DO IT. It's a great place.

  • YEAH JACK!

  • @JackMcGuitar Please give me your address if you live on the gold coast please

I want to ask you something sbout gold coast australia

  • @manek39 hahaha yeah right

  • @JackMcGuitar I am from poland but i got and Grandparents in Minto, i was in 2005 in australlia its very very nice i was in Sydney,Canberra,Gold Coast, Brisbane,Mackkay and more ;)

  • @JackMcGuitar. i love the goldie but i feel there is so much it is missing. the beaches are amazing and the theme park, but it is all about the beach lifestyle or the rural aspect. not trying to be mean, I live there to. I would move back to England in a heartbeat if I had the chance. but i think the reason I love England more is that it is going back to my roots. I think the goldie needs more culture. the shopping isnt that great (not compared to london anyway)

  • @RPSHammond Yeh its not really fair to compare London to the Gold Coast

thats like comparing an apple to a tomato. both function the same but look and feel completely different as far as experience is concerned. believe me ive spent some time in England and London in particularly and while its nice to visit abroad nothing seems to come close to what we have here.. I think your always going to have some element of bias towards the place you grew up and anywhere else. THERES NO PLACE LIKE HOME

  • @IDGeneratorS. you're right. England means the world to me because I was born there and grew up there.

  • @IDGeneratorS True, i'm haluf aussie-brit.. lived in england all but two years of my life, back in 1998-2000 i lived in australia as a kid.. i prefer what you have over there x1000 and can't wait to come back out! :D

  • @JackMcGuitar i'll come there on August :)

  • @JackMcGuitar I'm sooo jealous of you. My brother went there for about five months abroad he was planning to stay less but loved it so much he stayed longer.

  • @JackMcGuitar screw the holiday im moving this year whats it like?

  • Great place and the 4wd tours are awesome up in the Hinterland and its rainforests

  • The GC would be great if someone nuked Surfers. That place is Australia's urinal with Cavill Ave the urinal cake. If I ever wind up there it'll be with a lot of ammunition. Bloody Russian Mafia ruined it.

  • @syncstation yes id have to say that cavill ave and surfers paradise is a dump and is very rough but the rest of the gc is good, except for maybe nerang...

  • Comment removed

  • I live on the GC and I love it. It's pretty cool.

  • this is my home and love it

  • i live here on the gold coast but go the brisbane broncos ima brisbane boy but i love the gc and titans are my second fav team hell yeah james e

  • you guys are lucky to live at a place like that, i live in Dallas TX, and its as boring and dull as anything you could imagin :(

  • this is my home town hell yeah cool ha

  • My Home....The best place on earth.....

    In my opinion......but I am biased...LOL....

  • i live there

  • It's great place to visit if your never been there, I could live there for 3/4 months of the year and get away from the Melbourne's cold winter.

  • GC is dust

  • You haven't done pcp have you?

  • The kind of comment you'd expect from a 14 year old who has never experienced the Gold Coast nightlife.

  • the south is ok but the north like surfers is dangerous and compeletly ruined

  • O and Surfers Paradise was voted the number one place in Australia to get demolished.

  • OMG ToiletGreece your like a huge nerd what with all those stupid games on your home page thing. lol

  • I used to play a computer game a while ago. When I stopped playing I just put all them vids on YT.

A huge nerd though? lol. Okay.

Everything you say is somewhat worthy of a laugh. Everyone on the Gold Coast are bogans?

The development of Surfers is what gives it personality. I rather live in a city than a deserted Island. That's just me.

Were you asking me if I have ever left the gold coast? Yes I have, I have traveled the world twice.

  • I highly doubt that did u win some computer game tour or somthing vistiting all the places where computer games are made

  • Think as you wish mate. It doesn't phase me as to whether or not you believe me. If that's your attempt at a "pay-out", then it's quite pathetic if I do say so myself.

  • any way GC boring

  • And I do like citys Brisbane Sydney and Melbourne are cool just the idea of a city at the beach ruins it

  • I understand, I don't live in Surfers Paradise though. I love the large cities in USA, like New York and Los Angeles. Both amazing cities.

I dislike Brisbane for no particular reason, but Sydney and Melbourne are both nice.

  • Well i guess the gols coast does have its good sides, but my Fav city in Australia is Birsbane. Im sorry for the things i said.

  • Why not like Brisbane?

  • Also, thanks for reminding me I can delete them now too. Cheers

  • omg fuck off GC is in the top 5 best places in the world. (last time i checked) so if u have a problem go fuck off to dubbo were u belong!

  • Omg i used to live there than i moved to LA and its like way way better gold coast is one of the worst places in OZ Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane are the best

  • The Gold Coast has dirty beaches you said? I'm sorry, have you even been to Venice Beach? Los Angeles is pretty shit. The Gold Coast isn't a large city though; it may be sarcastically voted the number one place to demolish, but that will A never happen and most people would kill for this lifestyle.

  • OMG Hav you ever left the Gold Coast its so boring sure it has nice beaches but the whole place is ruined by deveolpment. And that voting thing wasnt sarcastic every body hates Surfers except for the people on the GC beacuse there to bogan.

  • im not bogan....

please check out my videos, search

    Ash the Depressant: Episode 3

it's a funny short web series! please tell me what you think

  • Gold Coast #1 in Australia. =]

  • Any city can be fun if you are the person to make it fun... I am so moving out of the UK though, fuckin shithole

  • thanks for this show

  • gold coast is awesome..Sydney's boring T__T

  • come on sydney is fun!

  • Not anymore they took away theor best theme park wonderland :(

  • Best theme park in Oz was Wobbie's World in Melbourne. I think they shut it down when liability insurance was more expensive than the value of the place.

  • hahaha, wobbies world lol

  • I love this place

  • I think it's time to go back to Gold Coast. But this time it'll be longer than 1 week. There is just too much to do!

  • Ive lived on the Gold Coast my whole life and been surfing just about as long. Sharks attacks or sightings are fairly rare. Ive only ever seen one in my life. However the canals are full of bull sharks, so probably best not to go there.

  • sharks? i'm thinking about going for a vacation to the gold coast but i'm curious, is there swimming areas that are protected from sharks and sting rays and is there any other kind of harmful animals/insects

  • The sharks won't attack you, don't worry. Shark attacks are rare, especially on the Goldy.

Sting rays... they won't do anything here.

Other insects? Red-back spiders; that's about it really. Nothing to be afraid of.

  • i just dont get it how gold coast gets 5 major theme parks which caters also for brisbane and then you hav perth with ther own theme park goin on then you have the largest cities in australia sydney and melbourne which get jack shit but a shity luna park ooooooo how exciting! not everyone in these cities are 7-12

  • Wish I was there...hopefully soon!

  • Gold Coast...., More like adventure coast. i love this place i come here twice a year.

  • the gold coast is great for a holiday

but the beaches are infested with sharks

  • dude, did u know more vending machines fall on people than skark attacks so please do not say that about the gold coast because i live there and it is 1 of the greatest placeonm earth and they have shark nets anyway so yer..

  • I have to disagree

shark attacks are rare in the beaches

the canals behind peoples houses are whats infested

  • it depends really

there would be a hell of a lot more shark attacks if it weren't for the shark nets.

  • Im at the beach on the gold coast A LOT and i have seen 2 sharks in 2 years. One went very close to me but didn't bother me because I didn't bother it. They're really only protecting themselves

  • hmmm my house

  • i will b going 2 the gold coast in march cant wait

  • Is it easy to find part-time jobs in the Gold Coast?

  • i go to gold coast every year its fun but i wouldnt want to move der since all ma family n freinds r here in new zealnad

  • might go and liv dere soon...

  • i live on the goldy... its bloody great ay

would never move from it :)

  • I have friends who lived there... but now they moved to Ireland... dunno how or why?!... but i'd love to go there!...

  • If there's any1 from the Gold Coast, plz tell me how gr8 it is! =D

'Cos Adelaide is nothing but a waste of faeces

  • gold coast is very nice just about anywhere especially on the beach. if u could move there, where would u wish to live

  • GOLD COAST IS FUCKING GREAT

  • Gold coast is the best! Ive lived here since i was born. its always sunny, has great people, the list goes on. this place is heaven completly, its a wonderful place to live cause theres so much to do whether you like being around loud and noisy habitats or just quiet retreats.

  • I don't know which is better The Gold Coast or Sydney =)

  • I'm not from eitehr but i would definately have to say Gold Coast

  • Comment removed

  • I <3 The Gold Coast! It's the best! =D

But that's fun no matter where you are lol.

I'm getting over it now lol, but can't wait till I can finally hit the clubs and try that out. ;)

  • Sad thing is that it wont be this way soon enough with alot of NSW people migrating here it will be busy and full of those meatheads.

  • I have lived around the coast for 44years and it never ceases to amaze me how you get them from Melbourne and Sydney start up a business hear and go belly up within a year do you home work first!!!PS we can always tell melbournites they OVER dress

  • girlfriend and i are checkin' it out for first time soon, were from melbourne and reckon QLD rocks. we've been to Pt Douglas and Whitsundays (both amazing and beautiful). can't wait to head north again in the middle of a victorian winter.

  • i live in melbourne and i find the humidity in NOV - MARCH rediculous, much better place in june and july

  • The Gold Coast is just the best to live or visit.
