Maybe it's just me, but i notice the hitbox for headshots on the huntsman to be huge. Sometimes the arrow will be sticking out of my shoulder after i get killed by one.

I love using the Huntsman, because it takes more skill than the regular sniper rifle, but I hate it when someone takes this as an opportunity to snipe me from afar with one of the rifles

In order, from hardest to use to easiest, it goes

Bazaar Bargain - punishes bodyshots, rewards good snipers

Huntsman - need to lead targets, also good at area denial

Sniper Rifle - normal sniper rifle

Sydney Sleeper - ...seriously. They're rewarding noob snipers with this weapon.

Sniper Rifle is definately harder to use than the Huntsman. For one, you have to zoom in and that leaves you defenseless for as long as you're zoomed in. (Though a good Sniper won't stay zoomed for longer than 2 seconds.) and secondly, you can't just shoot randomly and gets headshots. It's a neat weapon to use sometimes, I enjoy it, but the Sniper Rifle is definately harder to use than the Huntsman.

@timeparadox The zoom in is something that the huntsman lacks, and so you need to get closer to the enemy. Being one of the lowest health classes in the game means that you will be killed faster than, say, a soldier. Plus, the huntsman cannot kill overhealed heavys, unless you get a crit headshot. The sniper rifle, however, lets you kill easily from across the map. You can still duck and weave zoomed in, and at that range, few can kill you but another sniper.

Any good sniper won't be a sitting duck in the back of the map, he'll be up in the action, quick scoping people.

@Haikoori The Sydney Sleeper is an assist weapon ! Dont hope to get kills with this weapon but a friend and 1 use this and a sniper rifle to push the team real far. It's not a really good technique but we were bored.. We get taken out by soilders and spy a lot :P

I don't see why people hate on 'classes' in general, or weapons. I often hear 'FaN fag' when I play scout. Most the time people feel a 'class' is 'Over powered' just because they met someone who actually KNOWS how to use the class or that weapon. It's absurd. yes, I play the scout alot, even though most people think that class is easy to play, I also play soldier and compression blast as pyro, which people can't stand either. 'Compression fag'. Lol.

Alright here's my two cents:

Good Skill, you're pretty talented with the Huntsman, and you understand it's projectory patterns.

The video could have been uploaded in a better resolution, such as a widescreen, and some video effects would have made it all the better. I would recommend you watch Auto-Aim, another montage. I actually assume you have because you named your montage based on a common hack that was misconceived as being there, when it was merely skill.

i catch a lot of soldiers demos and especially pyros with the lucksman.

but people dont give the huntsman enough credit. sure it does require less aim than the sniper rifle but it definitly requires more leading and prediction than the sniper rifle.

i use it for fun or being "cheap" just like pyro and fan scout.

I prefer the normal to the huntsman, but that's just because if i feel like going up close ill go solly or pyro, but the main reason i think so many hate this weapon is that they aim at where the enemy is, and not where they're going, which you have to do when they move I've noticed. Either way amazing video, every weapon is good if you can use it well in tf2, excluding the homewrecker but who knows :P

@Bullet739 Yeah, aside from the pyro, if you notice, I think I only have 1 close range soldier kill in here which is because at close range, the soldier is a dominating force and near impossible to beat with the Huntsman. And, truth be told, a decent rifle sniper will ALWAYS beat the Huntsman. So, I try to avoid dueling those 2 classes like the plague. But, thanks for the comment and the compliment!
