Ive killed over 10k avansies now, recomended setup:

Armadyl helmet

Saradomin body

Zamorak chaps

Fury/amulet of ranging

Any spirit shield(i use divine for longer trips)

Ranger boots

Barrows gloves

i personally found that armadyl helm, sara d'hide body, ava's device, granite shield, dharok's legs,dragon boots and zammy vambs work really well.

my stats are:

80 defence and 81 range

also, you are more likely to recieve bars as a drop if you are wearing a ring of life or a archer's ring

I cant afford torags helm with the legs combined(its like 1m and with other armour and supplies its like 2m), so which would be better for 75 ranged/defence: zammy coif, t legs, granite shield, and blk d'hide body, or d med, zammy vambs, t legs, granite shield, and blk d'hide body? I want to kep my armour under 1.4m.

It might be a lot easier if you just start making the other 600k at something like dragons. Then you can go to avansies and never need money again.
