Sorry for the vagueness of this comment, but... I loved this video a lot. Your manner of expressing the opinions and values you have was truly interesting to me. I hope you feel free to keep up this level of bare bones honesty in your youtube videos.
I love this video. You are so brave and inspiring. And you shouldn't be ashamed or embarassed about what happened to you when you were 14. It was not your fault. I know how you feel, because I've been through it, and you never do get over it. You just learn to manage it. I'm always here if you wanna talk, text or tweet me, doesn't matter what time or day it is.And I agree I think it's so important to let people find their own paths, I think thats important. Love this video. x
Great videos once again!Odd question you may have already answered on another clip...do you feel you've been on any certain spiritual path(s) because of your ancestral make-up?You certainly know alot about your background, and had mentioned wondering about some connections in that way.In researching both sides of my families, many, many things are becoming very clear through the lens of ancestral experience, religion and attitudes.Do you have the same or different feelings about this topic?Cheers!
I found a good way to deal was to speak to my child self, like when you meditate, visualise your child self and talk to them and let them know that it wasn't their fault and you are there for them.
Shazzy, I just want to say you are AWESOME. I have watch you grow so much in the last 2 years. And you are absolutely correct; age has nothing to do with how wise someone is or is not. I am about 10 years older than you, yet I gain so much wisdom from watching your videos. I truly enjoy your "lectures" on life ; ) Keep being YOU kiddo !
I am sorry about what have happen. . . I have gone through the same thing and still have a problem with my boyfriend. . . im to scared to ask for help though. . . ( 5:01-6:00 )
@WiccanRezzy IMO,Knowing that one needs help is a display of wisdom. Asking for help is one of the greatest displays of courage we are capable of. I wish you the best. Peace.
re: telling someone what they've done is wrong(13:30). I agree very much so. What is right for one may or may not be right for someone else.Christianity did not work for me, this does not mean it cannot work for Joe or Lisa or Tom. I can only let a person know what did and did not work for me. They must then decide how it may apply to their path, if at all.
@BioLogicalTruce (cont.)I think the greatest epiphany for me was when I realised that it was not fulfilment of my wants that brought about satisfaction but rather a freeing of myself from these wants. Once I came to this knowledge And learned how to remove these wants from my heart life became both easier and a great deal more pleasant. Abstinence from the physical desires may be a bit hard at first but once one begins to over come it the ease of it becomes more natural. Thank you for these vids
