i can't understand why people have to get all drugged up to chill out ....just listen to this music and they could save a fortune!!....am so relaxed now am no going to work!!!
@TheAbbeytheatre Nope, Most people don't need drugs to chill. But if you have to sit through one my brothers friends crappy seminars on the advantages of orthotic footwear, a little pot sure as hell goes a long way.
I love the Makaha sons I live in stockton, ca and back in 2007 I watched them in person very awsome. Plus my stepfather lived in the same neihborhood with John and Jerome Koko in Nanakuli, HI.it brings back all the good memories of me growing up on Oahu, Hi.
Maholo John, Jerome, and Moon. Your music along with the Cazimero Brothers and Brother IZ were the most pleasant memories I have of living on the islands. Your harmonies are outrageously good.
Mahalo for the posting. Their harmony is wonderful. They will always be among my favorites. Soon we (my husband, our dog, and myself) will go home. I hope to be able to see them in person. Too long we have been gone.
Makaha Sons no ka oui por siempre! I love these guys, especially Moon, he's such a cutie. Let us not forget...Iz.. we miss you big time, Mel, you da best. I have every cd these guys ever made since way, way back and have seen them in person 6 times. Their harmony gives me chicken skin, their voices are so beautiful. I have learned many Hawaiian words and phrases, and now I can sing many of their songs songs in Hawaiian too.
Just discovered the music of IZ Kamakawiwo because I must be from another planet.
Thank you guys out there for posting his, makaha sons & other related videos. I find peace of mind hearing their brand of music. LONG LIVE YOU TUBE. YOU ARE DOING A GREAT JOB. From FRANCISDIESTO
So beautiful, they sound the same as always. but I can't get out of my head how sad they look as they sing, like they are missing IZ with every note they sing (except when they are watching the dancers). Truly a lovely video, thanks for posting.
I Love listening to their music. It reminds me of when I was a little gurl cruising around Honolulu with my parents and listening to their music in da car.
