This entire notion of "omg the economy is collapsing" is a hilarity from an economical standpoint. Recessions happen, and because of certain elements such as the housing inflation a few years back, they are common.
The real reality in this recession is, when people hear things that makes them nervous and that they don't really understand, they tend to quickly join the "dramatized" band wagon.

I am in college right now and I am struggling because college kids are getting screwed with the money and payments. But there is this kid that went to my high school and graduated from my class. The kid has really bad ADD and has some social issues but his parents are rich as hell, they give him everything. He has a golf course, a pool, three garages and guess what, he is now richer then me and anyone who graduated cause he lives off his parents and uses the ADD as an excuse.
So its not all poor people that are lazy, in fact most rich people don't even work hard. A huge portion or them just live off their parents, get money inherited to them. Have no ambition to do anything you truly like just continuing to do what your father does or mother does because you can get a job and make a lot of money real easy. People win lotteries and can live the rest of their life doing nothing.
Not to mention 70% of the jobs in the country aren't jobs that make a lot of money. But they do it anyways cause its their passion and its what they love to do, and its not their fault that someone tells them how much they are able to make. And these 70% of jobs also suffer from it, so what, its their fault that they followed their dreams and heart instead doing something just for money, Now these people who followed their heart have to struggle and its their fault. Problem 2: to many people, there are to many people, there is a lack of jobs, money,space, jobs money.... and now add everyone thats on the streets already cuz of too many poeple, and a lack of money... now add to that everyone who'll be comming home from IRAQ (no offence troops), were are they gunna go, what jobs are they gunna get? the'll probably be either homeless, or they'll end up getting your doodz jobs!
The real problem that I see is this. These idiotic, U.S. CEOS and upper management have sent U.S. manufacturing and service jobs to countries like India and Asia to make big bonuses for themselves. In the end they screwed their shareholders, clients, and employees, all of them who are consumers as well. However it´s very difficult for Americans to pay back debt when the jobs that were traditionally there are being shipped to the far east and the savings people were counting on are gone.

According to the I.O.U.S.A. america spends about 20% of their budget on the millitary. This can be compared to Swedens 3%. I'm willing to bet most European countries are a helluvla lot closer to Sweden then the US in terms of spending on the military. (I just can't be arsed to start looking for numbers now)
France's and UK's are highest in terms of absolute amount of money. We can look at percentage of GDP or percentage of budget. The military budget more or less doubled recently. It's very small compared with medicare medicaid and Social Security though.
I find the movie a bit dishonest since it does not mention the biggest government spending the military. They do mention the war in Iraq, but the total coast of our keeping the military is much bigger then the war.
Firstly the percentage of our GDP that we spend on the military is the same as any other western country. Meanwhile, Russia spends nearly 11% of their GDP while we spend no more than 3% of ours on the military. We have closed down many of our bases around the world, including domestically as well.We have a 12.7 Trillon dollar, or had because of the recent crisis, economy, while the next closest is Japan with 4.7 Trillion. We can afford our military spending.
How about stopping all the spending for the military and completely demilitarize ourself s? The only reason other nations keep up arms is because they are afraid of US. Also it is BS that anyone likes to invade US. That is propaganda so we can continue to feed the fat bustards of the military industrial complex. Eliminate the FED, NAFTA and other trade agreements. Put tariffs back,create a wall in the Mexico border.Create more Financial regulations. Eliminate property tax & income tax.If a corporation based in the USA go to China,put taxes and tariffs in the products they want to import from China after all they are not helping the GDP or the US by eliminating jobs and buying raw materials and labor in China. In Denmark we´re good at making windmills. We develop them better and cheaper (because a Chinese person would have to spend a lot of time/money learning what to do and how to do it). Just like if you want to learn how to make bread (though, on a smaller scale).
That being said they SHOULD reciprocate and China (among others) should stop the massive subsidies for certain industries. Importtaxes is not they way to go. WTO is supposed to deal with this sort of thing.

Dude how can you think so ignorantly especially if you really truly came from the same area a lot of these people came from. Just because you were somehow able to survive and get out of that mess without being mentally struggling doesn't mean everyone is also. You are you, you aren't everyone else. People struggle all the time, there are so many reasons and things mentally, physically that does effect the people and the people around them. Just because you got out of it doesn't mean anything.

It has nothing to do with it being all their fault cause it isn't all their fault.When you grow up and crap neighborhoods surrounded by violence, crime, and poor schools. It puts a mental effect at a young age. When you also have greed running the country, they have these areas suffer they force the few running business their to fail, they allow these people to continuously struggle and fight for survival with one another. The people with money have a huge effect on destroying it or fixing it

"They" don't "allow" these people to struggle - "these people" allow it themselves. I grew up in a neighborhood like you're describing, and you don't have to buy into the hype the street tries to sell. You CAN get your free education and get out, if you want to work for it.

Some people might not be as strong as you and could never be as strong and as luckily fortunate you became. Some people can't teach themselves not everyone can mentally have the capacity to do that and when you have the choices of going to a crappy corrupted poor school and teaching yourself cause no one will help you, it is impossible for a lot of people to try to pull themselves forward, you have to really know people to get this, people think so small and use lazy and not trying as an excuse

I am in college right now and I am struggling because college kids are getting screwed with the money and payments. But there is this kid that went to my high school and graduated from my class. The kid has really bad ADD and has some social issues but his parents are rich as hell, they give him everything. He has a golf course, a pool, three garages and guess what, he is now richer then me and anyone who graduated cause he lives off his parents and uses the ADD as an excuse.

So its not all poor people that are lazy, in fact most rich people don't even work hard. A huge portion or them just live off their parents, get money inherited to them. Have no ambition to do anything you truly like just continuing to do what your father does or mother does because you can get a job and make a lot of money real easy. People win lotteries and can live the rest of their life doing nothing.

But they do it anyways cause its their passion and its what they love to do, and its not their fault that someone tells them how much they are able to make. And these 70% of jobs also suffer from it, so what, its their fault that they followed their dreams and heart instead doing something just for money, Now these people who followed their heart have to struggle and its their fault. Problem 2: to many people, there are to many people, there is a lack of jobs, money,space, jobs money.... and now add everyone thats on the streets already cuz of too many poeple, and a lack of money... now add to that everyone who'll be comming home from IRAQ (no offence troops), were are they gunna go, what jobs are they gunna get? the'll probably be either homeless, or they'll end up getting your doodz jobs!

The real problem that I see is this. These idiotic, U.S. CEOS and upper management have sent U.S. manufacturing and service jobs to countries like India and Asia to make big bonuses for themselves. In the end they screwed their shareholders, clients, and employees, all of them who are consumers as well. However it´s very difficult for Americans to pay back debt when the jobs that were traditionally there are being shipped to the far east and the savings people were counting on are gone.

To do this any means that gets the job done has a green light. At this point the sheeple will protest. According to the I.O.U.S.A. america spends about 20% of their budget on the millitary. This can be compared to Swedens 3%. I'm willing to bet most European countries are a helluvla lot closer to Sweden then the US in terms of spending on the military. (I just can't be arsed to start looking for numbers now)

France's and UK's are highest in terms of absolute amount of money. We can look at percentage of GDP or percentage of budget. The military budget more or less doubled recently. It's very small compared with medicare medicaid and Social Security though.

I find the movie a bit dishonest since it does not mention the biggest government spending the military. They do mention the war in Iraq, but the total coast of our keeping the military is much bigger then the war.

Firstly the percentage of our GDP that we spend on the military is the same as any other western country. Meanwhile, Russia spends nearly 11% of their GDP while we spend no more than 3% of ours on the military. We have closed down many of our bases around the world, including domestically as well.We have a 12.7 Trillon dollar, or had because of the recent crisis, economy, while the next closest is Japan with 4.7 Trillion. We can afford our military spending.

How about stopping all the spending for the military and completely demilitarize ourself s? The only reason other nations keep up arms is because they are afraid of US. Also it is BS that anyone likes to invade US. That is propaganda so we can continue to feed the fat bustards of the military industrial complex.
