I just heard about her having to cancel her concert. That is such a shame. I saw her at the DE State Fair and she was so awesome. I hope her voice is going to be okay. I don't know what I would do without that gorgeous voice in my life.

Thanks for posting this performance. I do not live in that area and could not see the game. Kelly's voice always blows me away. I love when she sings a song bluesy. She also sings the National Anthem amazingly. The rendition she did in NY was awesome!

Amazing - and it was rushe because they were trying to get the whole thing done quickly before it started to downpour - and ironically as soon as Kelly was done it started to down pour and the game got delayed so there was a reason for the rush- we kno Kelly usually likes to do all her runs and notes but she made it up in the end

i am not saying that i dont still love kc, i do, its just that it wasnt outstanding like she normally is. and now that ppl mention it, i could see that she was being rushed. the other performance was longer too. it was just an observation. kc herself says that she doesnt like yes people, people that always agree with her, and i really do not criticize her that much.

She never overdoos the songs she does, she does that so people are able to sing along and arn't forced to sing a high note lmao.

Anyways she was rushed she didn't do that on purpose they rushed her to finish kinda sad considering a great singer needs to get time to perform so we all can enjoy :) i still enjoyed it though.

This was a beautiful version, yes different than the last time she sang it, but you can hear that Kelly has matured so much as a vocalist. I love the soul and blues that she infuses this with.

and varlums, you know i hate to say that, but she used to captivate me and now, well.....it just seems so....blah! ya know? she seemed like she was limiting herself then and i know that her voice is obviously tired for touring, but still....idk....its just nothing compared to the 2004 performance...

I thought she sounded great, but i understand what you are saying. I think it's the song. Youtube some other videos of her singing this, and you'll probably feel the same way. It's just not a song where you can add a lot of riffs and things to it. I think if she had sung the National Anthem, she would've absolutely killed it. I agree with you on this song though!

Well, it really depends on the version of the song. Sandi Patty did a version of it that is extremely interesting! I don't know if it is on youtube, but I do know that I covered it on my youtube. It's my featured video. =D

But like I said GREAT version and totally worth listening to! much more interesting.

Kc's vocals are great here, but it was so short and her version is kind of boring. but LOVE the vocals she sounds great!
