  • I really want to make one but how much did it cost?

  • how many yards of fleece do u need?

  • @iantheelephantboy For a standard throw blanket two yards is good....but if you're making for a tall person, I'd go with 3 yards (pretty big blanket)

  • Thanks so much! Nice job:)

  • Hey please check out my channel.. I have an easy tutorial of this to!

  • Finally! It took me forever to find a good video on this! Thanks so much! I can't wait to make one for my boyfriend for christmas

  • Awesome! I am making twelve for some teens I know! This has made it simple for me!

  • @dslamans Great! Have fun!

  • Why do you have to cut the squares on the edges?

  • @Breciamorgan Hi, thats just how the blanket is done. Once you cut the strips theres no need for the corners.

  • Lol my iPad is changing the words...I wanted to say how does it hold up in the wash?

  • @ladybuggysmom You are welcome! Have fun making the blanket! My kids love the blankets I've made them. Not sure where you live but in downtown L.A. they have great prices on fleece.

  • Beautiful blanket, great work! I'm curious on how it hold up in was, do you set it on delicate? I'm definitely going to give this a try for my three children. Thank you for such a great video :)

  • thanks so much! I know people have done this for years but I'm not crafty and this year I will be giving these as Christmas gifts to all the kids with patterns of their own individual style! The blankets you made looked very well put together not just knots. Thanks again for your help!

  • Very helpful! How big should the little rectangle for the corners be?

  • @BroadcastYourMeaghan Hi, the square should be about 3"x 3 1/2"

  • Great video and pretty blanket!!!

  • I love this blanket but I dont know why on one side the fringe is cut shorter than the other side? Does it matter?

  • @PhotoAddiction probably because one side stretches and the other doesnt.

  • Great job at explaining it in details.! I'm making one for my Grandsons first Easter this year.! blanket basket.!

  • @hoperenna1974 You are welcome! Blanket basket? I'm curious.

  • how much of each fabric do you need?

  • @ColourYouZebra A standard size would be 2 yards.. for a taller person 3 yards.

  • I'm working on making a no sew crib rail cover but this was still helpful. Thanks! I've never done a no sew blanket but now I want to. :)

  • @natashablizard Hi, I don't have any other no sew projects ... You can also make no-sew scarves..

  • thanks so much for doing this; im making my first one soon and I would have done such a bad job if I didn't actually see what was being done DX but anyways, thanks!:)

  • @cheshirecat3224 Let me know how your blanket turns out!

  • how many yards did you make this? i've been struggling to determine how big to make mine and the one you made looks like a perfect size. please get back to me if you could! thank you!

  • @Samjambam3095 Hi, I believe I used 2 yards for this blanket. For youth I'd recommend 2 yards.. For a tall person you can do 3 yards. I wouldn't do any longer than that. Thanks for watching!

  • @lobofamily thanks! i made my first one with 2 yards, zebra print and a light green, it came out amazing! its the perfect size, you're video helped a lot for me. thanks again so much!

  • I cant seem to find solid fabric anywhere at a store. Where did you purchase yours?

  • @sugarlips727 Hi, I buy my fleece from downtown L.A.. If you live in Los Angeles I can tell you where to go.

Other than L.A.. The only place I know is Joanne Fabric. Their fleece is very expensive. I pay $2.50 a yard in L.A..

  • i am making one for a baby. I went with 1 yard and it came out fantastic! Thanks!

  • @AFWifey520 Aww you're welcome!!

  • My wife made a fleece blanket for me in my favorite sports team patterns. My buddies unmercifully dogged me when I used it during a recent cold weather outing BUT they have all come to me to ask how she made it and they all want one. This video was a big help thanks for the tips. I'm trying my first one today. Will let you know how it comes out.

  • @onewickedmick COOL! They are warm indeed! Post a video response after you make the blanket!

  • How many yards of fabric did you use to make this blanket? I love it!!

  • @AFWifey520 I used two yards. It was for a 10 yr. old girl. She sleeps with it and said it could be longer. It depends if they are using as a throw cover or to sleep with... If you're making for an adult you can do three yards.

  • What size fleece did you use? Good tip on knotting them to show opposite colors! Thanks!

  • @GlitterMamma HI, I'm not sure of the size of the fleece bolt.. I can find out. Going to L.A. this week for more fleece. Thanks for watching.

  • What a surprise to find your reply to a question I asked you a couple months or so ago about how do these stand up to a washing. Thank you so much. No, I have not made any yet because i was waiting for that answer. But will now for sure. Plan to make at least 3 for Christmas. Watched many vids on this and yours is the absolute best. I am using daughters name...lol, cause she was already logged on. Thanks again and bless you. Lin

  • OMG Love this tutorial. I am in the hospital on bed rest until I deliver my baby girl. And I have been wanting to try this. This tutorial has really helped alot. It really does look very simple. Now to just send my hubby to the store to get the fabric. :)

  • @Cute1Tan Thanks for commenting on my video. I'm glad it helped you.

I had to be on bed rest with my first two kids. It's not fun. I get my fleece

from downtown L.A. for $2.50 a yard or at swapmeets for $3 yard. Pretty great

price for a nice blanket gift! Good luck with this and with baby.! :)
