Btw; Gloria is an American citizen, her imediate family all lived in the U.S; After Marc's death she was a single mother, recovering from the car accident that also broke her jaw.. Her home with Marc had been robbed, and everything taken.. Why would she stay in a foreign country in that condition, unable to care for her child alone?.. Obviously she went home to recover.. I wouldnt call that suspicious.. There is ZERO fault in Marc's death, but there is a persistant need for blame..

I get that we are ALL Marc fans here, but Gloria bashing is just VERY uncool.. Gloria Jones is a beautifull, talented and very brave woman... She really deserves more respect.. Marc's death was a tragedy all the way around, especially for her.. and the continued persecution she faces, (from Marc's "fans" of all people) is just cruel. The crash was an accident, and Gloria has done nothing but HONOR Marc's life..If you don't like her backing vocals dont hate her for it; She's a diva anyway...

The only thing about all of this guys, it was fate....he predicted his own death....it just so happened Gloria was driving the damn car that killed him......I am with yall...I feel a little resentment toward Gloria for this, but even the constable said it was just an accident...but why did she quickly move back to the US? That is a question only she could answer.

It's hard not to be resentful toward Gloria Jones. After all, had Marc not been in the car she was driving, he wouldn't have died that night. But no one has a crystal ball. We don't know what might have happened otherwise, but there's a chance he'd still be with us. At the very least he would've had more time to create and perform great songs and we would've had that time to appreciate him. I can't even imagine what it's like for Rolan knowing his mother killed his father, albeit accidentally.

I do not know any of these people personaly, but I kind of agree with Marc's mother, that June should have kicked his ass and got him to straighten out, instead of leaving him. Sorry if that hurts anyone's feelings, but that is just how I think.

If I would have heard this before I heard the Brown album entitled T-Rex, with Ride a White Swan on it and Electric Warrior, then Slider, I would probably not bothered to hear them. He got famous WITHOUT Gloria and her noise, she did not go well with the audience. Listen, to her. It is horrible. Then, listen to Caddilac, performed live in studio for French TV. Bolan, Finn, Legend, Currie.

Gloria had a relative who fed that. Was the relative managing him at the time? Well, when you're an icon, I guess it's easy to get what you want from wherever. But despite her latter-day status as mother of his son, at the time, she seems to have brought a lot of poison into the boy's life.

Probably thought the same thing the Beatles thought about Yoko Ono. Marc's career started going in the toilet when he moved away from the gritty rock and started drawing more attention to Gloria. Gloria had amazing talent in her own right and it should have been kept that way. Seperate. Her career and his career.
