  • I totally relate to everything - marriage stress, sleepless nights, full time working Mom, etc. I'm so glad that I checked your page and that you did an update! Our baby is nearly a year and still not sleeping through the night. It's been the most difficult aspect of having a baby. He's in daycare full time and we both work full time but we make the most of our family time together. Our little one is hapa too! They're the cutest! Take care!

  • So great to see you back. I've watched your video twice already. I relate to everything that you say...marriage trouble, counseling, and yet, still thinking that you have a great husband. I keep thinking about the quote, "that which does not kill us makes us stronger." The past four months of motherhood have been some of the hardest times of my life.

  • hello from Norway, I was watching all your videos while you were pregnant - (I have also a daughter - 4 months old). I must say that you had a very good idea by doing those videos, later your little girl from now , could say thank you for what you did. By the way she's adorable! Really glad to see you again on youtube. Take care :)

  • Congrats!

    your baby is sooo adorable!

  • So good to see an update from you. I was pregnant when I started watching your videos and now, months later, I've had my baby and am back to watching your video - makes me realise how time's flown!

You've lost loads of weight - can't see that extra 15 pounds on you at all. How did you manage to lose it?

  • Thanks! Time does fly! I think breastfeeding for 6 months helped me lose weight. I'm not eating less or doing much exercise, so thats the only thing I can think of. Hope u and baby r well.

  • Thanks, yes, we're well... he's almost 7 weeks old so things are REALLY hectic (breastfeeding being the most demanding thing) - I hope that things settle down and become more comfortable, as they seem to have done with you. She's gorgeous - looks like her dad now I reckon, and looked totally like you at birth!

  • Lila is soo gorjez! keep updating us on her..and her growth! x

  • oh and Lila is gorgeous! xx

  • thanks for the update! I know what you mean I had a huge 10lb 5oz baby by c-sec and it has taken it's toll on my body. I got stretch marks on my belly and after I had him I kept finding them everywhere. I have horrible purple ones on my inner thighs and bum.. nice! My boy is now 7 weeks i cant wait to see what he will be like at 7 months!

  • Thanks! Pumping was awkward at first but it got easier. I bought an electric Medela double pump which was a lifesaver because it only took 10 mins and had a cooler for the bottles. I pumped every 2-3 hours at work. I also bought a manual Medela single pump which was useful because it was quiet and I could use it in the restroom. Every night I'd freeze the milk in bags, and my hubby would feed baby with it the next day. Probably more info than you needed but that's how it worked! :)

  • My mom used to do that to when she had my brother, the whole freezer was full of her breastmilk!!

Im going to do that too.

But arent the medela breast pump expensive?

If I dont buy one, hopefully my cousin can let me borrow hers when she's done with it.

  • The Modela Pump in-style is totally worth it. It was about $250, and you can't take them back, but I LOVED it.

  • Hi Sel, she is beautiful. If anyone thinks that marriage is easy, ha! think again, its a working progress. So she actually drinks formula, my daughter gags. Love her outfit, too cute. Strecth marks! Me too, lol. You look great BTW.

    KIT

  • congratulations on such a beautiful healthy baby. You are doing a great job as mum and I can understand why you hate going to work. My little cherub is now 12 weeks and I am in the fortunate position not to have to go back to work. I am in a baby fog of love and sleep deprivation and I doubt whether I could have survived going back to work! And physically the birth was so difficult, I wonder if I have recovered yet. Good luck and thanks for all your pregnancy videos (they helped me)

  • im glad to see you made an update but your baby is very cute and she so big now ....

  • Love the video, like that you speak about ALL sides of motherhood :) I too have the lost brain cells...lol. Also the increased stress put on relationship :(

Children are wonderful but bring many new continuing challenges, definitely all worth it!!

Oh and you are doing way better in the weight department then I am. I still have closer to 20 lbs to lose and my baby is 9 months :(

You're daughter is beautiful by the way, as are you

  • yay, so glad you made an update. She is GORGEOUS. I have another GF for my son. haha. take care!

  • haha, I know, Lila has a million BFs already

  • She is a cutie! I know you had a C section is your belly still numb? The same with me and my hubby! We have argued more in the past 3 months than we have in the last 4 years! It is getting better though. I so agree that brain cells disappear during pregnancy lol

  • My belly isn't numb, but I have quite a big scar where they did the C-section. I think the arguing gets less when you feel more relaxed knowing how to handle the baby more, and talking a lot helps. Josh and I are probably closer now than we've ever been, hang in there!... :-)

  • Omg! I'm so glad you did another video. She is so big and beautiful. You are my very favorite subscription. Glad to see you back!
