I have sketchy memories of this song being played on Sesame Street, but i thought I hallucinated it. So nostalgic to see it pretty much how I remembered it and comforting to know I wasn't on crack lol

Didn't know this was "The Pointer Sister", until Sesame Street reran it, when the first "Beverly Hills Cop" came out. Never understood why it was played, but I later learned it was educational. We can make this world a better place.

I'd say definitely a live recording, especially because you can distinctly hear the individual backing harmonies, just two voices here--listen for the low voice. Spontaneous sound. Very nice. Thanks for posting.
