When they say it's part of a set, they mean a set of different Scientology books, not really a series. So you weren't really missing much, that's all there is to "A History of Man." It's pretty bad. If you want to learn more about Scientology, pick up Janet Reitman's "Inside Scientology." It's a really good book that's fair but truthful and a great read; it was a NY Times Notable Book last year.
@icudmerderascoop I was really hoping that at some point it would all make sense to me ;-) That's why I read it twice. Think I'll pass on a third read :-) Thanks for watching.
Did you read the part where Hubbard explains why having cold hands can be from a past life engram from when beings were frozen and transported to other planets? How about about the fly trap where thetans got caught in gummy material. Hubbard says the technology in this book can enable the blind to see and the lame to walk.
@iamitchey Yep, I read all of that.... but I am just not buying it. Keep in mind he was a science fiction writer before he created Scientology. Thanks for watching.
@ReaderOfEverything My comment was made in fun, but I'm glad you were able to review some of the nonsense in Hubbards book. I was in Scientology long enough to discover it's mostly a science fiction religion that takes advantage of confused people.
If you won't warn your viewers, I will. Scientology is an abusive, criminal cult. Thousands of people have fled Scientology with the same exact accounts of physical and mental abuses throughout every level of this destructive cult. What kind of "church" make a play for your credit card within 15 minutes of you walking in the door?
@MaceKingsleyExposed I don't know anything about Scientology other than what I read in the books. Did you know that the Mormon church requires you to submit your Tax Return before becoming a member! Thanks for watching.
25 cents I guess 5 cents would have been more decent for this dumbass.
