Hi Carolyn -- the carne asada looks great. Did you oil your cast iron grill beforehand or did you just grill it up with the lemon juice and gd seasoning? Thanks =D
@fezan84 No I didn't oil the pan. Just put the heat on medium-high to high. Remember I put a little EVOO on the meat itself to keep it from sticking. It's even better on the pit :))
@sweetiepie1018 Yes it's called flap meat, a type of cut taken from the flank cut of meat. If you can't find it in NJ you can also use the flank steak and ask the butcher to cut it thin for you :))
@cutiemisbehavin LOL Really now!! Yeah hun that curl grew so dang long I had to get rid of it junior year. Yeah send me a message and I'll go to your channel and see if I recognize you :))
@SmokelessFireAngel Thanks dear! Yeah I said Nopales a few times so I could make sure I was respecting the product itself. I'll also put it in the written recipe as well or Nopalitos!
What I use is 1 orange, 1 lemon, some grand diamond and a beer and it is really good

Is it called flap meat in the store? Just asking because I've never heard of it in NJ and just want to make sure I look for the right cut.
