Michelle Yeoh'd kick everyone in this vid with one hand tied behind her back. The only others in this clip that I have any time for are Sigourney Weaver Zhang Ziyi (not a fan, but again she'd slaughter most of these girls) and Lucy Lawless - who actually came across as able to kick butt. Sorry to break it to you but like most Michelle fans I *know* that she was a ballet dancer before her spinal accident. Unlike Bruce, Jet or Jackie she doesn't have formal training in martial arts. *eyeroll* But fact is, she's known as the "female Jackie" because the woman does her OWN stunts, had her own style and commands respect in the industry. My point is that even in the context of a film, her fighting and choreo *owns* compared to most of the women in this compilation.

What made the character 'Lt. Elen Ripley' awesome is that, when faced with a problem she attempted to solve it 'by the book' before over coming it 'her way' -this made her character realistic.

As an 'Alien' fan - as far as I'm concerned the Alien franchise ended with the second installment.

it's not the "frequent" times they've played a character. ultraviolat, aeon flux, leeloo and resident evil fights wasn't realistic (too much unrealistic backflips and weird shooting etc etc etc). personally i think that the ellen ripley fights are the most "natural" fights, the way she fights and uses guns against the aliens.

From my point Milla does an exceptional job making fight scenes look believable and ass kicking.
