Order 66 was just a legal order.

Not like the they could question the order anyway. The Kaminoans said the clones were totally obedient and takes orders without question. And the chancellor was the supreme commander.

Why didn't the Jedi see it coming? Dooku literally told Obi-Wan that Sidious was controlling the senate, Windu and Yoda sensed a plot to destroy the Jedi and the chancellor was dark sided. But nobody acted to get to the bottom quickly before it was too late.

If the Seperatist had won, he would have had taken over with that side and had it his way..

IF the jedi had tried to kick sidious out of place, or setup a attack or defense against the soldiers or what not, sidious would have called anarchy from the jedi which would have made the jedi come off as more of a dictatorship....

everybody seems to be getting this wrong. if you've read order 66 you'd know. order 66 was 1 of 150 regulations that were drilled into the clone troopers. they were mainly worst case scenarios and orders that the clone troopers were to carry out when that specific order was issused :)

order 66 was caused because the chancellor (darth sidous) had controll over the clones.When darth sidous lived from mace windu darth sidous knew that the jedis could over throw him thats why he took action with a sneek attak with the clones.
