  • I always been a fan of Tomita music, congratulation for this nice vidéo on his music.

  • hi. you should credit Osamu Tezuka for the Phoenix animation...you didn't create that.

  • Isao Tomita in my opinion is probably one of the greatest musicians ever lived...i have every l.p made by him and more besides. i dont need any drugs to get somewhere special listening to his work. to me, he turned classical music from inaccessable to accessable to everyone. Tomita will be playing as my body is cremated .

  • Who created the video? Did you do this yourself fogzax?

  • @InsertName125

Yes - it's one of my fave Tomita tracks :)

  • Gracias linda Susana por compartirlo,MUY BUEN!!

  • @gfks11

Thank you Judie for sharing ! Very interesting & unusual video & music.

  • Excellent Excellent Excellent....... Tomita is a genuis!

  • what a great buzz lifting experience wow.....

  • maravillosa !

  • On the cover of the American sleeve for the Bermuda Triangle Tomita himself says that he had started to use a micro computer in his recordings. Since computers use a binary code parts of his recordings are digitally made.

  • intergalactically analoguously synthetically SPLENDID!

  • For this mp3 go to easymp3grab doht cohm.

  • i"ve always loved moog and mellotron, and tomita has influenced me since i picked up a copy of "pictures at an exhibition" in 77 ! he"s so original with his sounds, they"ll never be anyone close!

  • One of my oldest memories is me, when I was four, listening to Tomita´s Pictures At An Exhibition. I recently listened to this recording and I realized I never forgot this music!

  • What a great job,,You got feeling and charm!!!.. Thanks for post it and for share

  • This part of the album was the absolute high point of my student life in 1988. While everybody else was out raving, I was tuning into this beautiful music and watching the walls. Isao Tomita, may your tribe increase.

  • I like the video too, phoenixes are awesome.

  • The Masterpiece of Tomita ! One of the most beautiful music ever heard. Top-classic of genre (listen also Vangelis/Jarre/Schulze/Kitaro from 70's-80's masterpieces row).At 3:54 a picture from russian legends

  • 最初の映像で覚醒しました。「神々しい」火の鳥。現在日本では、このアニメは見ることが

    、非常に困難です。何故か各メディアも沈黙しています。近い将来に全篇を見られるよう希望します。

  • I have been a fan of Tomita since the early 70's

    Outstanding job

  • The Phoenix at 1:32.

  • Second what VladtheEmailer said !!

    Oh. My. God.

    Magic.

  • Maravilloso Tomita; un gran recuerdo de juventud , de eterna juventud espero.

    Genial ámbos (Él y Stravinsky)

  • This played on WSHE 103 Miami circa 197? Still strong playing along, Tomita brought us to the digital age of music using classical.

  • No offense, but nothing about Tomita was "digital". Moogs and modular synths are as analog as you can get :)

  • @jsound42 Not true, He was working with yamaha developers and prototyping experimental digital equipment in the 70's

  • @jsound42 Sorry but he did use digital instruments, he used the Emulator and Synclavier, both early digital samplers on Grand Canyon and Dawn Chorus and Bach Fantasy was done almost entirely by sampling his moog to get the polyphonic sounds (the moog was monophonic only). but on his first six albums he used all analogue because there were no digital instruments available at the time. Analogue or digital he is still one of the greatest synthesists of all time.

  • I bought a tape of this when i was about 11 without knowing why. I got home put it on and was comepletely taken in. The tape had a coded message on it you needed to access through an early games concil. Never did get around to finding out what the message siad.

  • It probably said 'buy my next album'. LOL..

  • Haha!! I wouldn't have wasted anymore of my pocket money on another one of his albums to be honest.

  • Thanks for putting it together and making it available to those who can appreciate it

  • ¡Amazing!

  • Cool!

  • Thank you Stravinsky! Thank you Tomita! Thank you Fogzax! Beautiful!

  • Lol the opening is a scene from The Crow

  • Wow, I didn't think you could butcher one song so perfectly.

  • That firebird was the phoenix created by Osamu Tezuka! This is astonishing!

  • thankxxx for posting it

  • Wonderful!!!

  • The eastern phoenix is different from the western one, but since I like them both, I'm not complaining :)

  • Thankyou for sending this to me Jaques, I enjoyed it very much. :)

  • I will always remember the evening I shroomed to this album back in the 80's.

  • me to! ;-)

  • @shoegooguru I remember listening to this while eating a mushroom pizza.

  • @shoegooguru I never found it necessary when listening to Tomita. It is always like a super natural high to just listen to him.

  • Comment removed

  • @Booger6995 True! I have listened to Tomita many many times over the years and it certainly was not all while on shrooms. BUT...I will not forget the evening in Denver that I combined these two great things! Tomita is more than music and shrooms bring something more than a 'high'. Shrooms and great music work VERY well together. Just depends on how much 'expansion' you feel like.

  • @shoegooguru I wasn't necessarilly saying anything is wrong with shrooming. Been there done that. I can imagine that it would be a great experience with Tomita. Maybe I should have. Might have been cool. Anyway still love the music. L8R

  • great vid and of course excellent music from Tomita

  • thanks! ;-)
