@ben10fan4ever No, this is an old windows mobile game, not sure why you'd want it anyway, it's actually not that fun. Now there's much newer games (for android too) like NOVA and battlefield bad company 2, and much more.

@GordonFulcrum Hi Gordon. I believe the file you're looking for should be in the game folder, not the windows folder. You may have to allow windows to see hidden files if I remember right. It's been years so I don't quite remember anymore. Another reason could be because you never installed the accelerated drivers, or the rom you're using doesn't have them. Did you already install the drivers .cab from xda somewhere or at htcclassaction(dot)org?

I just attained my second prestige! I really like this video game, its amazing. Thank god that i didnt have to pay for it. Me and my mate just dled it from codmw2freedlYcom (replace Y with . ), and put it on our college's pc's. I'm downloading the actual new map pack now from that web site, i'll tell you guys if the new maps are worthwhile.

@boskoo88 Because, when you register it it uses your owner name and the key to register the product. Did you download the demo? or did you buy it?

Was HELL to get this thing working right.

Very worth it though. QVGA's still got the largest app database, Kaiser's still the best QVGA phone with a keyboard, and I don't see myself ditching it for a while.

...and getting things like this to perfectly playable status is just icing on the cake :)

I watch it in HQ. I'm not sure, it is not possible to say exactly, but I guess the game doesn't run still +30FPS.

@ZlutyPanter wait did you mean the entire video was laggy or just the call of duty game? Yeah you're probably right, it probably isn't 30fps, but it sure is better than it was, you can see the comparison at the end. Either way, this phone sucks, I now have a nokia n82 which is able to play quake 3 at 30fps (I'll make a video of it in the near future).

It also plays Gameboy advance with sound and perfect speed with a frameskip of only 1. It's a great phone.

Yeah of course I meaned the game.. I know Quake, it runs really very well on all Nokias with graphic acceleration. GBA games are also not bad. By the way it looks this is the unique video on youtube, I haven't found any other of this game.

@ZlutyPanter I never actually noticed this. I did a search for "call of duty 2 HTC" and found a few on other windows mobile devices, but not on a kaiser like mine.

I'm actually gonna go and start to record quake 3 on my n82 now.

@MRBlackSmithMR yes it should work perfect, no hacking or special versions required. The accelerated version was made for the Dell x50V actually. This video was to show that developers were able to take the files that the x50V used and get it to run on the kaiser and other pocket pc's.

I don't use this phone anymore, I have a nokia n82. I also have an ipod touch which is surprisingly my favorite device so far (even tho I hate apple), because I've jailbroken it.

Overpower? It's not like the driver is overclocking the video processor or even changing voltage settings. Granted, the performance is pretty bad, the onboard ATI chip WAS designed to do 3d to some extent. You really don't know what you're saying... memory doesn't just fail like that. There are plenty of 3d games for hardware accelerated Windows Mobile devices, but the thing is that you don't hear about them because the iPhone and it's apps are more hyped up.

yeah I know what you mean, that is annoying. I've made a custom skin for windows media player before, then someone reposted it. his thread was about 8 pages, while my thread was only 2. And as must as I bumped mine, he still got more credit. That was over a year ago.

I will never buy HTC because of their complete disdain for gadjet hungry consumers who bought the Kaiser under the safe assumption that working accelerated 2d and 3d drivers would be released.

im not due for another upgrade ill June, so i have till then to worry. I hope some new stuff will be out by then. If i do ever buy from HTC I will make sure it's tested first. That's what i did with the Touch Pro. I kind of wanted it, but when people tested it, it wasn't all that better than the kaiser.

it makes autosaves, once you pass a checkpoint you can start back there from any time, and when you complete a level you can play that level again.

that means you downloaded the full version, the retail version, the version you have to pay for, when you pay for it they give you a registration code. However there is also a demo avaible on their website that doesn't ask for registration info.

simply go to your phone's "settings" in the start menu, and go to "owner information" and make your owner name something.

a lot of the newer roms now rotate much faster than some of the roms did in the past. Just try flashing a new rom, PDAcorner or hyperdragon III are my 2 favorites, try the PDAcorner rom.

just tell me which part you need help with. The setup.exe should install it, then the installation on your device should start, you select storage card. When it's installed you copy over the .exe file from xda-developers. I will add that link to the video description.
