Look at the two women involved in the conversation. This is how it should've went down: Flat-chested Moo: do you have kids? Woman: "No, I don't. I don't want them" Flat-Chested Moo: "Oh, oh, what? Blimey! Don't you want kids?" Woman: "Don't you want tits?" *awkward pause* "Have any other rude, intrusive questions for me? No? Alright then". Fade to black. The end.
Augh! Had this conversation so many freakin' times! However, when they ask "who'll look after you when you're old?!" I always reply "the same people who'll look after YOU: the nurses at the retirement home! Except I'll be able to afford the luxury wing because I didn't waste my money on a kid most of MY life!"
I never been comforted by a badgered person before. But the way I feel now, I EMBRACE IT, BRING IT!!! I don't care what anyone in my family or the outside world says, I'm going to continue living and stay childfree forever while defending my lifestyle against badgered people.
The responce should have been "I wouldn't be pregnate long enough to change my mind." Heh
Considering the program used, this is both cute and effective. It's also right on the dot as far as how some people behave when they learn others want no children.
@86thislove: that's what it's like to have a discussion like this with the average childed person lol. Many of them end deadlocked in this maddening cycle instead of the snappy comeback/ownage of the room the other childfree videos here show. And of all irony, they're the ones who accuse US of being selfish, arrogant and demanding when that's exactly what they are when they bingo us to death with their stupid reasons we've all heard a million times and with them telling us how to live our lives.
@gir908922 I can relate to what you're saying. Why is it that we, the chilfree people, have to be badgered for our decision to not have kids? Who are they to judge us? I've been blessed not to have kids and I love my life the way it is. Do they really think of us childfree people to be selfish, arrogant, and smug just because we don't want kids? That's so stupid. But I have to admit that I do gloat at the fact that I don't have kids. I'm very proud of that. I celebrate it everyday. WOO HOO!!!
@gir908922 I think the badgerers lack the very capacity to understand our perspective; these 'sheeple' can only see life through the filter of values they have internalized...but I also suspect that they envy our freedom!!
If they were truly happy & at peace with their own choices, they would NOT be exerting pressure on us to join their ranks, right? Every such attack on us reflects their own insecurites/regrets. In a world of round holes, we are the cool square pegs with our scary corners!!
@writerforlifeify: You've got it! I see no other reason to explain their downright COMPULSION to "fix" us to see things their way, as if their way is so great! To paraphrase a t-shirt I once saw "Your kids have scarred my uterus for life! Thanks!"
@CactusHeart79 Glad you see my point! In my case, I absolutely knew at age 12 that I'd never be a mom; it wasn't a decision per se, just something I uncovered about myself early in life. I DO like kids, I'm patient & relate quite well to them; I'm just a kid at heart myself, yet a writer in my bones (I'm an artsy soul)...but the very DESIRE for a child (or a pet or a plant) has ALWAYS been totally ABSENT in me...and that's ok. I am who I am, child-free, unflinchingly true to MYSELF!
@writerforlifeify:haha,I knew when I was 8 lol.Still equally cool :.) Whatever in me that might pass for "maternal urge" I think are basic human traits:nurture, care, love. That can be distributed in many other ways in this world:Plant, animal, elderly(they need their diapers changed too,but u don't see anyone knocking u out of the way to do THAT).To withhold1's love, nurture, care &attn for whatever falls out of their vagina makes them as narrow-minded & discriminatory as they accuse US of being.
@CactusHeart79 7 billion of us & counting....why can't more wanna-be parents adopt the MANY orphaned/abandoned children in this world? They've just gotta have 'their own', spread their precious genes around, right? Kahlil Gibran said that your children are NOT yours; they come THROUGH you, not FROM you. Yours is the privilege of having them for but a while 'til they find their wings and soar; we're all interconnected. There are countless ways to (selflessly & more responsibly) serve humanity.
They want us to share in their suffering. Haha, I'll have kids when pigs fly. I can have a happy and healthy life without giving birth or raising children. Life is about making choices- my choice is to be child-free!
Aye, yai, yai! Where's the anvil to drop on this moron? She told you, "NO KIDS!!! ***Scarface voice*** LMFAO :-)

@beefchops2011 Thanks. That's why I made the video. Each question is something I've been asked on more than one occasion.

Lol great video. It's really annoying to hear these questions over and over again isn't it?

@agentbl If they have the right to celebrate the fact that they have kids, we should have the right to celebrate the fact that we don't have kids.
