So while the SNES got Mechwarrior, I guess this is what the Genesis got? I like that at least the 2nd stage wasn't flat. I hated MW b/c most landscapes were flat so you didn't really have any terrain cover to speak of. They also had bases to protect...which were nothing more than squares in the ground! Ugh...I like Mechwarrior, looking forward to the new one, even if they had a bad start.
Not as easily as you'd think, the controls are awkward in that you can't aim without shooting, and you can't maneuver or even stop while aiming and shooting

This game reminds me of Desert Strike...except with giants mechs, instead of helicoptors.
