This is a biased review. I bought one and had to return it because the view screen was all SCRATCHED UP. AND, it was almost impossible to figure out how to use on my mac. I returned and had them send me another camera just in case this one was defective. No such luck. The same problem. The screen was scratched up and it still did not work as easily as they say it does.
GET THE ZOOM Q3 HD. It is a far superior camera and worth the extra 100 bucks!!
Hi, I really like the review of this product, but have one question. I'm interest in visual performance and need comact camera with nice (not the best) quality of video recording, can I expect this from the Videotrack? I don't have enough money to be spend in vain and live in a country with no much choise in the market, so I'll really appreciate your answer :)
I watched your "demo" and was impressed with the video and audio quality you got with the VideoTrack. I bought one, but can not seem to get the same video quality as you got in your "demo." Now, watching some other YouTube "demos" of the VideoTrack that seem to get a video quality similar to mine, I wonder if your video is actually just a sales promo and is not actually a demo of the VideoTrack. What is your camera of choice when shooting a demo?
@KurtGaryHall Thanks for watching. Our NAMM product demonstration videos are shot directly on the trade show floor. We quickly edit them to get them up online, so we can get information about just-announced products to our customers as soon as possible. Based on your comment, we'd be glad to change the title to "Overview." This was shot with a Canon GL2 camera. The audio is from the Shure mic he's holding (wireless system). The VideoTrack doesn't have an input for a microphone or line, however
Wondering how well this thing holds up in extremely loud club environments. Anyone have any insight? Hoping that lows don't clip it out or muffle up.. risky 180 dollar chance.
Here is a link for my video tracker in use with oneof my original compositions... look up jaydee86
