Hey. I downloaded Fedora 11 from the internet. I need to know how to login to the root user to install nVidia drivers. This doesn't work while the X server is running. So PLZ HELP ME!
Every time I have burned the dvd I get an error during install. The sha256 is right I burn at the lowest speed and its the only distro I have ever had this issue with. Fedora 3 was the same way back when it came out. Burns fine then during install it says a file is missing or corrupt. I quit using it and went to debian but now im interested in fedora 11 but just cant get an install disc to work. Haven't ever figured out why either.
ah, yes if it's the live one it's a live cd, so will boot from the cd. You can probably install it once it has booted though, so select boot and try to install it from within the desktop it gives you :)

i have downloaded Fedora 11. I have put it in a CD and when it comes to have an install screen it just says boot, not install.
What am I possibly doing wrong?
i got the i686 live torrent. Could that be the problem?
