no its not...he needs to do another 180 rotation. he's dong a 360 inside landing one leg, it is a difficult move but its not a 540. u just said whole cares if its a 360, thats what this argument is about..so obviously you do. if you want me to step. come to CMATs, i'll gladly see you there. warning tho...i'm not good.

... pls don't be so aggressive, if u look closely at the way he takes off his take off feet are is away from us, and when he lands his landing foot is away from us thus in competition would be counted as a 360, look at the slow mo, he just spins an extra 180 on the ground to end the jump. This happens often when u kick fast like he does. Again i'm not doubting his skill just saying the fact it is a 360

That is the 540 kick, its a sweet kick, you can take your opponent out if you land that perfectly

I am on of Master Li's students. Master Li Pei Yun is a professional from China. Check out his bio at lipeiyun dot com. After retiring from competition in China, he came to the US to teach. You can see a couple of his cometition routines if you search for Li Pei Yun on youtube. BTW, he's a great teacher.

maybe u didnt realize...thats not a 540 tornado...its a 360 tornado, he just landed and pivoted 180 on his foot on the floor. also landing right leg isn't that hard, it be harder to land in a horse stance or splits.

hey goober153, i am a student of Master Li's too, and you have to remember that this is a BASICS video for people to learn. 540 kick into splits is not something i would readily call a basic technique, but he can do that and FAR more in his sleep, he is after all a champion from China who still stays in the most ridiculous shape.

i agree with that, it is a not a 540 in the video, but he obviously can do a 540 and even the 540 tornado in the air and still spin another time afterwards b4 hitting the ground
