Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You should have a small jar filled with your sweat mounted on the trike. So when someone asks you "How much did that trike cost?" You could just point and say many of these!

Anybody that can turn two piles of scrap metal and some junk VW parts into something useful without spending his food money is an artist in my book! It's easy to spend a wad of cash on a kit and follow the instructions, but your design shows intelligence. Have you thought about making some fiberglass panels to cover the tubing? Wrap that sheet metal with some foam and vinyl from the fabric store? I've done it before and it's not that difficult.

I like very much your machine. I too wanted a Trike to ride and I had some handicap issues so I made a flat floor for my feet on the one I have. However you took the pains to design and put your thoughts where they count 3 wheels on the ground and be able to ride with the best of them. Good luck in all you intend to do. I just know you will be successful at what ever you do in the future.

sooooo sick i made a trike something like that from a few bike frams and a old rear end i got from a junk yard couldn't get the motor in so i just put pedals on it and connected it to the rear end with chain with a sprocket welded in place of the gears but love the way yours turned out
