  • I've never heard the original, but sometimes it sounded like you were a little out of tune (Nothing apparent though. Three years of musical education has finally messed with my brain. I can't enjoy anything anymore without criticising it XDD) Otherwise you have a great voice and I really liked this cover^^

Sorry for starting with the negative thing. But the last thing is what I hope you keep with you(the first is just something to work on;) ) =P

  • @Vvimlan we dunno each other do we?.....lol I'm glad u even took the time to come here

well, I was indeed off in the beginning, right there, and with some of me reading the lyrics while singing, it was quite hard to sing properly during the pre-chorus, I am most pitched during the chorus I guess....

I know how u feel, I can never watch movies without thinking of how the music in the background is used to affect our emotions in relation to the scene...lol

thanks a lot, u were awesome! lol

  • @KitsuneMale I'm glad you hear it yourself. Some people can't hear when they are off pitch, but I guess you also have been taking lessons?^^

I know right? Especially american movies, as they tend to overdramatize the music=P

Awesome is a bit much. Great maybe, but awesome.........Who am I kidding? I'm awesome lolXDDD

  • @Vvimlan oh no, I knew I was off the moment I sang it, I just was late and couldn't bother trying to learn it right lol...so yeah, I suppose it's just I hear the song, but can't remember the notes when I sing it, so it gets rather pitchy...don't worry, I take interest and lessons, not like most people who don't even know but like judging anyways

totally, but i was thinking anything really, like the climax scene, im like, oh hear the music lol

    LOL very very humble too

  • @KitsuneMale I'm just a perfectionist when it comes to the pitch. It's the most important thing for me=)

It's so easy to think you know the song when you have listened to it a thousand times, but when you try to sing it yourself, you realise that you doesn't know it at all=P

When I watch horror movies, I always thinks that the music does half the movie, and that it wouldn't be so scary without music=P

Humble <--- me in a nutshell lolXD

  • @Vvimlan I think so too, if by pitch you mean getting the note spot on and being in tune all the time, I find that to be important...

Yeah, well, I actually know it, it's just when you have to reproduce it, I realize I'm not sure I'm getting it right, another part I often get wrong is the transition from pre chorus to chorus "Just Let It Go 들려요 이젠 It's alright"

lol have u tried watching a horror movie without one?...it's truly awkward lol

  • @KitsuneMale Yeah, that's what I meant=)

The korean word just before 'It's alright' seems to be slight out of tune. Other then that you sound like you're more sure of the chorus, and comfortable enough to show off a little there. In comparision the verse becomes a bit dull.

I think there is a horror movie who doesn't have background music, just to get the 'real' effect. And yes, it was awkward lolXD

  • @Vvimlan it's totally out of tune, everytime i sing that part i have to resing it many times cuz i never get the right sequence, but today i did it right and i was like, OH, THATS WHAT IT IS....

yeah, it's cuz the chorus is higher and i knew the lyrics for the chorus...lol....

lol, also love scenes, actually watch ur childhood movies, just the song makes u tear up without any emotional scenes, thats how strong music is lol

  • @KitsuneMale Congratulations!=D

I love when things like that happens. It shows that you're always improving, even though sometimes it feels like you're stuck in one place^^

How dull life would be without music, right?^^

  • @Vvimlan lol well, if u look at it that way, then yes, i find it amazing when people can sing a song right after listening to it.....it happens to me sometimes.....

well, so, we are like the most important thing in everyone's lives....and people act like we aint...

  • @KitsuneMale Still, there is always something you can improve. Even if it's a small thing^^

    We? As in singers?=)

  • @Vvimlan Yes, of course, it is an improvement, and being able to pick things fast and well, thats also smth good to have

if u r a singer then yes, but i meant we as in musicians

  • @KitsuneMale Haha yes, I said singers because we were talking about singing, but singers are musicians too^^

  • @Vvimlan well, but performers arent and thats why kpop fans should stop bitching about idols, some members are musicians but not all of them are...

  • @KitsuneMale I see our voice as an instrument, but I agree with you. Not all idols can sing, or rap for that matter.

  • @Vvimlan yeah, but some idols aren't really singers or rappers, they do use that instrument, but their main thing is the performance, the dancing, so the dancer idols are more like performers, but i guess they all mature into musicians or actors or smth at some point or another

  • @KitsuneMale Actually, what made me listen to Kpop from the beginning was the dancing. I think the dancing is an essential part of Kpop^^

But I don't get the point of calling someone a singer, when they can't sing.

  • @Vvimlan thats the reason they are often called idols and not singers per se, though they also wanna prove that idols arent just pretty faces who can dance, like the main vocalists of every group....those are real singers..and I'd say the k-pop appeal is being able to do everything at the same time, sing well, look good, dance well, and live...

  • @KitsuneMale Who wouldn't want to have that?;)

It's too bad though that sometimes they go more on looks then talent, but the world is just superficial like that. And I have to admit, I am too.

  • @Vvimlan have what? do everything at the same time?....yeah

nah, they usually go more on looks for girls, it's like, they pick some who are the face, some who are the vocals, some who dance, some who have personality.....every group does that in the world as I see it, though I gotta say, I'm not entirely superficial like that...however I still don't get some of the singers, they aint got any of the things listed above and i keep asking...why? lol

  • @KitsuneMale But even if they have a great personality, some are so bad at singing that I can't believe they even got chosen. They should have stuck to MCing or something like that=P

I don't see that so much when it comes to Kpop though, but if you listen to Jpop you hear that all the time.

  • @Vvimlan i know right, srly, i dun know until this day how Eeteuk passed an audition....

what do u hear on jpop, i dun get what u mean?

  • @KitsuneMale That they choose more based on personality and looks sometimes. If you listen to like News or Arashi you hear that.

Lol after this long discussion it totally feels like I'm spamming your video, sorry XDDD

  • @Vvimlan lol its totally okay, i like comments, people will think im popular LOL jk

oh, well, i just dunno how u can pass audition with personality...i mean, what do u do, have a chat with the,? lol....and im sorry, i dunno japanese groups, i dislike them......to me, japanese singers tend to sound the same, voice wise, thats why i only listen to wada kouji, ito yuna and sometimes utada hikaru...or just anime songs lol

  • @KitsuneMale Haha, hope they doesn't notice then that every comment is from the same person. Well, atleast they will think you're popular enough to have a stalker XDD

I started to listen to Jpop, but then switched over to Kpop because I think they have better quality. I guess it depend's on taste though. My brother prefers Jpop(although he's not found of any of it and much rather listens to Metal =P). I only listen to Utada Hikaru and UVERworld,

More spam: I'm moving to Japan tomorrow!=DD XDD

  • @Vvimlan ....lol okay, u r my official stalker lol

yeah, k-pop is like j-pop with better quality, lol....a j-rock is a lot different from j-pop, and i just dont like j-pop, i never did, i only liked like one artist like Maeda Ai, and stuff.....

OMG, NO WAY, MOVING? HOW THE F?

  • @KitsuneMale Correcting myself, uverworld is more J-rock=P

    XDDDDD

I'm going to attend an international university in Akita for 3 years, and hopefully be an exchange student in Korea for 1 year. I'm sooo nervous right now lolXD

  • @Vvimlan yeah, my rock is F.T. Island, C.N.Blue and god forbid, Avril Lavigne and Kelly Clarkson, so im pretty weak on rock

Akita,......it's a dog lol.....sorry....wow, im so rooting for u, bcuz its such a great thing for u....but what is ur major and what...r u planning with this?...it's truly amazing though, ive never been to japan

im jealous, cuz i still havent moved...more than 3 times lol

  • @KitsuneMale Haha, I wouldn't call that rockXD

    Yeah it's the same name=P

Thanks. I'm majoring in Global Studies.

I actually want to be a dancer, but I thought it was better to get an education first so I can support myself. Who knows what will happen though? There's 4 years left =P

  • @Vvimlan there's a difference between rock and metal, metal is rock, but rock is not metal......

global studies...what does that lead to?

....to be honest, I find that to be a pretty bad plan and I dun get it, like....u can be a dancer only when u r young enough, but u can study and support urself any other time in ur life, so if within ur younger years u fail, u can still go and study.....dont u agree?

  • @KitsuneMale I mean I wouldn't call F.T Island and so on rock.

It's a lot of diplomatics, you read about conflicts in the world. I could end up working for FN=P

Not really. I know people who is around 50 who still works as dancers, so it isn't impossible if you just take care of your body. The reason that there is a lot of young dancers is that they tend to be uncareful and hurt themselves.

    I will be 23 when I'm finished, which is young. It's not like I won't dance a lot when I'm studying^^

  • @Vvimlan well, to me, it's rock lol

    .......FN, like UN?

I mean, dancers as in, what kind of dancer were U thinking of? i was thinking of hip hop ish, new trendy dances....

well, its okay, if thats what u choose for urself and think its best...but for me, i think i better ...well, my college is about music anyways, so im doing both at the same time

.......and then, maybe u r gonna meet a nice guy and get a bf now too lOL...sorry, its like all i want..

  • @KitsuneMale Yeah, um, sorry, I mean thatXD

My specialty is Modern and Jazz dance, but if possible, hip hop and new trendy dances too=P

That is nice. I have a friend who is studying musical^^

hmm... I don't know, maybe if it's TaeminXD jk, I'm just very picky when it comes to guys=P

  • @Vvimlan .......oh i see, well, then that's a whole different thing, i like the dances u do, and im rooting for ur wise decisions!

musical, as in musicals and theatre like that?....yeah, music is always fun to learn if its what u love

lol really? r u picky with girls or am i going off the road? lol

d'aww, but taemin is such a baby, u cant only pick him, u should be more flexible and look beyond the looks

  • @KitsuneMale Haha, I do hope it's a wise decision=P

Musical as in musicals, you know cats, grease and so on^^

No you're right. I'm not as picky with girls. Not sure why lolXD

Then we're the same. For some reason I always get babied in my gang of friends. Nothing I can do about itXD(I've tried=P)

  • @Vvimlan oh, thats cool too, id like to try that someday if i could....

LOL i did not expect to be right, plus......girls ...im picky on both i guess...

well, u must be a baby then? not that that's a bad thing, is it?

  • @Vvimlan oh, thats cool too, id like to try that someday if i could....

LOL i did not expect to be right, plus......girls ...im picky on both i guess...

well, u must be a baby then? not that that's a bad thing, is it?

  • @KitsuneMale It's fun. I studied Musical in high school^^

    It's hard being picky. I wish I wasn't=P

Yes, I'm the biggest baby on earth! XDDD lol

  • @Vvimlan nah, its best to be picky, than to date anybody based on physical attraction and end up in meaningless relationships

lol i have a magnae obsession, i feel like amongst my friends, i always have to be the youngest

  • i really like this one!!! I like your transition from the low to high notes. very smooth. I really like your voice as well, it is very soothing :) I can totally hear you singing ballads by Sung Si Kyung. GOD JOB!!! XD

  • @BlackoreanIndie tnx so much, i agree actually, nice idea of a singer to cover...lol...he is so good too....tnx, im glad my transition is good, maybe i should take the risk of a song on a male range, which usually makes me yell lol

  • oh you <3 my favourite cover!!
