Mathis needs to study the word more deeply, especially the original Hebrew and Greek. Paul did not say "woman" but "a wife," and then "husband" in the second part of the verse.

Remember the Samaritan that helped out the wounded person. Picture this: A sinner, whom Christ came to seek and save, not the righteous, as the man on the side of the road, injured, wounded. He gets passed up by person after person. If a woman saw him and saved him from dying, would you object? Either way the man is saved, right?
